Wait or Active?

I've always set it to Active. I prefer the exhilirating rush of having to put in commands quickly.

Always active, with battle speed set to fastest.

Active. Waiting is boring.

Wait, with the Battle Speed set on high, only because I'm horrible at finding items in the Item menu late in the game (when there's so many items). Otherwise, I'd probably use Active.

wait+fast. Otherwise I'd probably always go into panic mode and get myself killed^_^

I do well under pressure, but not *that* well.

I use wait. It sucks having to scroll all the way down to the bottom on an item list while trying to dodge meteors.

I like wait for the same reason as SePhO_zO. Items are too annoying to find.

I rarely use items in battle, but I can see what you mean. Customizable battle arragements, like in FFVIII, are wonderful.

I always use wait as well. With your battle speeds set on high, it's not so bad.

That depends on the situation. Normaly I play on active on high speed, but I sometimes switch to wait and minimum speed, like when fighting Ruby in FFVII.

I use Wait, with the battle speed on Fastest.

I set the battle speed to Fastest and I use Active. Random encounters take to long otherwise, and I get bored and frustrated, especially if I'm overpowered and can kill everything in one hit.

Anyway, I prefer turn-based battle system, so that I've more time to think before taking any action.
