Ok, I was just wondering, would you ever name you children after FF characters? or would that just make you think that your 11 month old "wakka" will grow up to be a blitzball star? it'd have to be the right name, and i'd consider it.
on the other hand, naming your kid tidus would set him up for a lifetime of trouble.
so, if you were to name your kids after final fantasy characters, what would you name them and why?
Whenever I type in Yuna or Tidus pictures of babies come up on google, so they could well be called that!
I think in like 10 years time noone will know the names are final fantasy related, so it mightnd matter that much.
I think Luca is a nice name :D
And I'm getting a guniea pig called Auroch!
Fighter or Black Mage or Thief or Red Mage
and when they grew up they'd become Knight or Black Wizard or Ninja or Red Wizard :O

Sure. Most FFs allow you to name your characters anyway, so pretty much any name applies.

I'm going to name my kid Dr Unne. He'll then grow up and change his name to The Final Fantasy Character Formerly Known As Dr Unne. That would rule.

I like Yuna and Lenne those aren't that wierd of names. I might name a kid Rikku depends on where i lived.I don't like any of the guy names
Well I was thinking Kairi would be a nice name for a girl, so that's close. Lenne is actually pretty nice too. None of the other FF girl names though. And I'd probably change my mind when I actually got to the age where I was going to have a child XD

I think Luca is a good name.
Seymour...I could let my ki walked out the house named Seymour, Vincent, Selphie, Zell, maybe even Cloud or Tifa or Zidane if it were a middle name
But if ever my kid walkes out the door named Squall, Ultimecia, Edea, Nanaki*maybe a pet* Brawne or Wakka...*thwaks myself for naming them that*
I'd never name my kid anything from a game/book/movie, BUT if I was forced to, then I'd go all out. Sephiroth, Matoya, Steiner, Ultimecia, anything else outrageous.

Vincent is the only good name in any FF.
Names like Kain, Tina, Barret, and Vincent arn't that bad of names. Of course, if I did name my child that, I'd never admit that I got them from Final Fantasy. I'm pretty sure my wife would divorce me on the spot if she learned that I named our kids after video game characters.
I'm leaving the naming to the mom. oo much thinking involved :p

I've actually always wanted to name my daughter Rinoa. I think it's a beautiful name, and it's unique, but not unrealistic.
If I have a girl I'm going to name her Rikku.

And krissy was named Vincent in Spanish, guess why!

I think Lenne is a real name, because one of the voice over actors for Project Zero is called Lenne Eberhardt!
If i had twins i'd call them Lenne and Luca/Leo!

I would name my kid maria. Maria is one of my favorite FF characters plus its a nice normal name that people wouldn't make fun of.

I think that the neighbours may call the NSPCC though :confused: so maybe we should fight em in the garage :confused:
but realistically I'd probebly give them a normal name and end up giving them a few FF Middle names : D man, these kids are gonna get picked on alot :confused:

I think i would consider calling a girl Rikku, or maybe Kaori (SSX). Girls names can be a bit more adventurous sounding tho, if you were to call a boy Squall or something, i think he might resent you later in life.
On a slightly related note, some kid at my school said he wanted to name his kids Dante and Vergil. I told him my kids would be first in line on the playground to beat them up.

No, as a FF name um... maybe Cloud, since I'm a pyseudo hippy but hmmm.... Yuna is a real Japanese name so that's cool. Maybe Wakka. Call him Wakka-Wakka. Die his hair red and give him a freaky mohawk.... yes.... mwahaha.... that could work....
