I cant stand them. Why the clown thing, I have no idea... it's laughable, really. I highly dislike their music and I highly dislike their attitudes. There isnt a thing about them I like.

I used to listen to them in high school. The music was entertaining enough. Some of the songs are still fun to listen to for nostalgic purposes. I liked when they wrestled in WCW and when they and eminem took shots at one another. Good times.
4 hates 1 love
I agree also. :pQuote:

Thanks for being so open minded. :thumb:
Well I think they're funny as hell. I listen to them for a good laugh. I used to listen to them A LOT in high school. I don't listen to them as much, but they're still pretty funny.
I had a friend who was into Insane Clown Posse. She became a pothead and got left back a grade.
Anyways, I listened to a song of theirs because she asked me too and it was like "BITCHEEEEEES! BITCHEEEEEES" and it frightened me. Not to mention that happy clowns scare me enough as it is. So, I really don't like them.
i listened to them while i was going through a hard time and i found it enjoyable. but now i put one of there cd's and hear "wiggy wiggy wa, b**ch, b**ch, rape. rape rape rape. eminem's a p**sy, wanna do his mum. yeah!" i wouldn't say they have any REAL talent but they can make you feel better about your self if you're feeling bad....they are pretty screwed up.
I've only ever heard one song by them "Homies" I liked it, I wouldn't attempt to listen to any other stuff.
What up, ninja? Good to know there's family in the EoFF forums. No surprise that Crazy the Clown's a Psychopathic Juggalo 4 life.
I'm an I.C.P. fan, too.
I enjoy their offbeat style and the fact that they can rap without saying the words "n***a", "gangsta", or "pimp". They're rappers who aren't afraid to show their violent, twisted side, and who aren't afraid to take people on without all their guns and their friends. Not all of their songs are good (no artist is perfect), and I don't agree with everything they say, but overall they're pretty good. No other band, not even Rage Against The Machine, has managed to bring rock and rap together so seamlessly that it changes genres sometimes in the middle of a song. Whether you love them or hate them, you have to admit that they're unique. Nobody else is like them.
For those that hate I.C.P. and think they have nothing intelligent to say, I advise listening to "Nothing's Left". That song is different from most of their stuff, and if you think about it it's true. There's not even any profanity except in the beginning.
i will look past the fact that you compared I.C.P. to rage against the machine. They don't do rock they just rap about twisted stuff an they're unique because no-one else wants to sing about doing someone's mum. i'm not saying they're bad but they're no more talented than other rappers (who aren't very talented).
i have a fear of clowns. im not joking
Haha that's one of my favorite songs. :p <3 ICP and ODBQuote:

Even though I've never heard that song, it pisses me off because I cant find the theme song to the old Dating Game show because all I get are ICP results. ARGH!
It's not them I hate so much as it is their fans in general. You know, the overly excitable ones who love to rant about how they learned to be psychopathic jugglers 4 lyfe.
That would be, "Neden Game," off the ICP's 4th Joker's card, the Great Milenko.Quote:

Cool Kid...
I was trying to compare rock/rap hybrids and how seamlessly they blended the two styles, not necessarily the bands themselves. If you think I.C.P. never does rock, listen to the Chicken Huntin Slaughterhouse Remix. (The original sucked, but the remix was good.) They rap for the verses, but the chorus is pretty much rock, as is some of the background music. Wheras RATM basically raps to rock music most of the time. (Not that that's bad--I'm also a RATM fan.)Quote:

I.C.P. does have something to say (even if you don't agree with it), and they incorporate not just rock and rap, but also carnival music, piano, and many other styles. I'm simplifying things here, but like 'em or hate 'em, you have to give them credit for diversity, and for having so many fans with virtually no MTV or radio play.
I agree that some of the fans need to cool it a little, and this goes for fans of ANY artist, not just I.C.P. fans. The "Hatez" also should calm down. Temple Knight, if that's the most intelligent criticism you can offer, then you should stop and think a minute. I don't have a problem with you hating I.C.P., but don't hate for no apparent reason.
Does listening to their music for a good laugh count as likin' 'em?
Depends on why you're laughing.
I'll be honest. I think that they're lyrics are so bad that they warrant laughter. They've become so funny that the lyrics have become one of my friends and my biggest inside jokes.
That about sums up my feelings. My sister and her bf are huge fans of them though, so I've heard like...EVERYTHING by them. Some of the stuff is actually funny.Quote:

My son, Christopher Colt Kelley, was murdered on December 21, 2001. He was 15 years old and he was a real Juggalo. He used to try and get me to play ICP cd's all the time whenever we were riding in the car together and I wouldn't listen to them. When he was murdered I took the time to sit and listen to what he was in to. I haven't stopped listening to ICP yet. I met Violent J once before Shangri-La came out and I told him all about my son. He held my hand and told me in these words that I will never forget, "You should not be sad that he is gone, you should always look at it like this, whenever it rains, that's him Raining Diamonds down on you." Then Shangri-La dropped and I heard It Rains Diamonds...and I could not stop crying. Now I am a 37 year old Juggalette and I'll be that way 'til I'm dead in the ground. My son was buried with an ICP shirt on and a Hatchetman round his neck. And I plan on going the same way. Everyone has their own thoughts about ICP and the Dark Carnival...but if you're not a true Juggalo....you'll never get it. MCL and R.I.P. Colt....we miss you.
I went to Hallowwicked in 2001. It was great. I've also seen them at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO for their last show on the Bizaar Bizzare tour and in the first time they were allowed to play in St. Louis after all that legal crap. I really like the stuff around the Riddlebox era the best. That's when they were graet. Milenko was good of course, but after that they got too big and lost something. It's been going down hill from their. Dark Lotus was absolutely horrible, especially cause I hate Blaze. The Wraith was okay and the ending was a big surprise, but nothing compared to the old days.
Riddlebox is muh Fave Album
I dont listen to them on my own i usually only do when im with a certain group of friends. I hate it when they try and clown on Eminem, but other than that it doesnt really affect me. Once in a while they have a rhyme that makes me go, dang that was good, every once in a while. I'd still stop to help a Juggalo, in need with the hachet man on their car.
ICP have been screwed over by MTV, but they didn't let their favoritism or manipulating the law stop them from being multi-gold and multi-plat. They were on the map before anyone even knew Eminem existed.
Never heard, probably wouldn't like 'em if I did. I hate most forms of rap music, except old skool 80s stuff (go go union underground).
