Man, this sucks.

I beat the game today, and I watched the movies and stuff and it was just stars coming towards the screen, and then I reset it because I I thought it auto saved. But I didn't now I gotta beat it again, how long do those stars go for?

Uhm, disc-based games never auto-save. And the stars go on forever. It's a series tradition.

So what do I do? I still have stuff to do.

Yeah stars go on forever I remember sit in front of screen for an Hour waiting for something else to happen.

I just dunno what to do.

When was the last time you saved?

I saved my save crystal until right before I go to the core. Then I saved.

Well, let me guess you want to do side-quest you left out right?

I wanna finish off the "weapons"

Well load that save file then leave the crater that's the only way to do it. GOOD LUCK you'll need it !!

So after I beat it then I can't go can and do stuff?

It's possible to leave the crater whenever you want to. It's a long road, but at least it exists.

I know that but after I kill Sephiroth can I go back and do side quests?

Nope only before (yeah kind of stupid) I wish it had an New Game Plus but only Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and FFX-2 allowed players the New Game Plus

Is crono trigger for ps1? I want to tryit.

Yeah you can buy it together with FFIV
It's called Final Fantasy Chronicles it cost about $20 but maybe you can check a bargain bin

Canadians all the way! Chrono Trigger was originally for the SNES so you might happen upon it at garage sales... only I'm told it was quite rare in its day.

Wasn't there another FF with the New Game Plus? Maybe I'm delusional...

FFX-2 has a new game plus feature.

Um, I could be wrong, but by the sound of it, I get the impression that you think once you have beat the game- even once- that's it, it's over. You can load the last file you saved on, leave the crater, beat the WEAPONS and THEN come back down to defeat Sephiroth again.

If you mean that, after you beat Sephiroth, can you load the game back up into a Sephiroth and Jenova free world in order to explore or kick the WEAPONS' collective asses, then... no.

I forgot to use the Save Crystal, remembered it when it was already too late...
But I beat the last bosses without dying, fortunately :)

And also, I think, think that FFX-2 is the only FF where you can go on exploring even after finishing the game.

Moses there wasn't another FF game that I know of that had new game plus but another square game with new game plus is Parasite Eve.

So the square games I know of that have New game Plus are Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, and that FFX-2. of course I havn't played every square game.. so there may be others.

Final Fantasy 5 should've had one too..
