I say we should ban the option to have numbers in names. There's too many Rikku9238487's and Yuna32141's around, it's getting confusing.
If you don't agree with me, well than I'll shutup and leave it.

I agree. People need to be more original in their names. Why not names like Squall_Humps_Riona? Thats an awesome name!
Or dr_unne_is_gay.
But if we banned numbers in names we coundn't have any sup3r 1337 names. No m4tt!
I agree. I don't think what I say REALLY matters, but I still agree with you all the same. Although I admit I'd like to take it farther, and ban names with FFcharacters in them as well. It's not much better. That could be just me though.
:D
Zig hail.
Cloud_Aeris_IV_ever :D
Okay, how about not only numbers, but also "_"'s and any FF-character names? (i.e. xxxCloudxxx) I don't know.
Anyways not like it matters too much to everyone, I guess. So I'll just leave it.
I just put numbers in mine out of habit. By the time I realized what I was doing, It was too late. :(
EDIT:
good idea. Then i would be okay already.Quote:

How about we ban people from beginning their names with lower-case letters too? And no known characters at all. You are not Spaceman Spiff! How dare you! Yes, I like that.
The cleansing has begun...
How do YOU know?
I agree with this.Quote:

Well, it does seem to be a bit too much of a censorship thing for me to support.
But on the other hand all these unoriginal names are REEEAAALLLYYY freakin' annoying.
If you can (politely) convince every single member we have at EoFF with a number in their name to choose a username without numbers, then I might begin considering this request. :p
Well I'm sorry. And I'm not trying to be offensivee, but you are being rude about this. It was just a suggestion, I wasn't saying you must do this. =\Quote:

I have to agree with Shlup on this one. Yeah, it's annoying, but banning them? It's just absurd.
However, I do like Bleys's idea. xD
I think somebody needs to edit the user registration form and put next to the username section "For god's sakes, be origional."
Damn right, Akuma 812!
I miss that name. ;_;Quote:

I'm waiting for one of them to pop in this thread and get indignant.
Of course, that won't happen because they're too stupid to check this thread, right? :D
Perhaps this thread should be moved to the FFX-2 forum, that should get them going.
huh?
I don't know if banning the people who have numbers or FF related names in their names is a good idea. Yeah, tis quite annoying when you have so many numbers in your name that it could be your phone number, address and birthday, but sheesh, let them do what they want. If they want to type in all of those numbers, go ahead and let them. Some of the people with FF related names *as said somewhere else in the thread* thought that their names had to be that way and therefore named them so.
*i guess*
Hey I got lots of numbers but my name is original!
I'm getting indignant with them being called stupid.Quote:

However, the two most common numbers anyone should avoid at all costs are 69 and 666.
How is a zipcode important to you?

Sorry, to make a pointless thread, everyone. >.<;;
I wasn't saying you, specifically, were anal. The amount of people that thought this was a good idea was annoying though. I mean, yeah, I'm really tired of Cloud2000, Cloudx34, Cloud1992, etc too, but banning those types of things is just... too far.
And this is one of the less stupid suggestions we've gotten. Seriously.
We still love you    :love:Quote:

How on EARTH can a username annoy you? GAH! The underscores are burning my eyes! The numbers have given me diaper rash! I've run out of hydrocortizone cream! One more late titled Final Fantasy username could make me EXPLODE.
See how silly, everybody? How silly? :D
You keep telling yourself that, scorie.
So am I--but I stand by my word. I get my fill of stupidity just working in tech support without being assaulted by it everywhere I go. It's nice to have nice and clear indicators of stupidity so that one can simply disassociate with such people prior to getting a screaming migraine.Quote:
