This is very hard... but I think I'll have to go with Faris.
Oh yeah I forgot to say whos my favorite.Even though I love all the characters in this game I'd have to say Reina is my favorite.You gotta love the pink hair baby!(Faris' hair is hott to though!)
Cid and Mid.
Out of the main characters, it has to be Galuf. He had a personality.
EDIT: Gilgamesh is far too cool to be compared to everyone else, so I couldn't list him.

She has great strength, looks pretty good in a lot of the different classes.
Plus, she had a tough life growing up as a pirate, and after (SPOILER)you find out that she is a princess, and how she was taken for dead all these years I found her to be one of the msot interesting characters.
Galuf is pretty awesome too, tough decision.
Of all of them, Gilgamesh, but on the list, Bartz.
the unicorn is the freakiest one I think.
Lenna. I loved her from the first time I saw her, something drew me towards that character. Plus she has the best theme music and...................PINK HAIR! :love:

Galuf. There aren't many, er..."powerful grandpas" in the gaming universe, and he is the strongest representative of this..."class".
Who would pick Bartz?
Um kay, that's wrong! Bartz is a traveller and seemsto be in the wrong place at the wrong time - sure you may walk around with him most of the time but you can't really call him the main character, you don't hear, see or notice much of him. Heck, when I played through for the fourth time I had forgotten that he was actually in the game!!!
Who would pick Reina?
She is a princess, I'm not one for a princess to be in a game but she does a pretty decent job (staying out of the game) - so I have nothing to argue about with that.
Who would pick Faris?
I for one, think that Faris is a silly character. Silly, silly, silly. She has the most pointless sub-event in the whole game. ^%$SPOILER$%^ she is a girl - I mean what could've she possibly been? She has pink hair and so does Reina. Galuf has brown hair and so does Bartz.... I rest my case.
Who would pick Galuf?
Obviously everyone should! Hasn't anyone noticed how he is the main character of the game, he's the one who blends the story together neatly. He's the only one with a decent sense of humour and is very myterious yet enthusiastic for an old timer. If you haven't then you obviously don' focus on the game - you focus on something else....
Who would pick Krile?
No one.... should. As she is the lamest character of all FF's. Nothing else to say here....
Faris has purple hair, actually.
and as for ignoring bartz, I didnt' realize he had so many lines spoken the first time I played the game, as the rom didn't label his lines with his name:]]]
I like Galuf the best.
