The return of the Official EoFF Intros

Since it's Bleys' birthday, well tomorrow (damn you!), I thought I'd try to find the old EoFF newbie intros. I can't believe that I actually did. They were on a CD in the back of one of my computer desk drawers. These things are great. Even two years after the last one he made, they still crack me up. The revised one is a bit outdated, the newest knight at the time was Leeza, but the material is still funny as hell. The original intro piece is beyond my time here, but I still find it funny. Anyway, I thought I'd share my bandwidth with the current EoFF community and allow you guys the pleasure of listening to these marvels of online forum comedy. Enjoy! :D

Actually Bleys is Canadian. :p

The two files were re-posted on EoFF about a year ago, I think, and I listened to them and found them to be great. At the time, everyone wanted him to make more but he said no because it just wouldn't be as good as the original. Good ol' Bleys.

It wouldn't be right to try and emulate those intros now. It's generally accepted that sequels to just about anything are vastly inferior to the original, and this would be no exception.

BoB doing one could be good, but I agree the original is superior to the revised one. I'm assuming Bleys was getting tired of being on staff by that time.

I can't get to it. I have both of Bleys' intros saved and listen to them regularly. They're great. I'm not near comedic enough to compare to those, so I sure can't do it. A new one would be pretty cool, though.

I remember when they first came out. I remember downloading them on a 56k. I even burned the first one to a CD for a friend who's never even been here.

I think someone should do an updated version, though I doubt they will be able to beat out the humor of the first.
