Rydia! She's the best FF girl ever (at least in my opinion)! I've always loved her childish innocence and sweet personality.
Edit: Porom's still really cool. Although I don't think too many people would like her very much without Palom. I personally like Porom better and she always makes my custom party (which I use a game genie to get).
Definitely Lydia.

I'd definitely say Rydia. Sure, healers are great, yippee, whoopty-doo, but Rydia summons and uses black magic.
The only thing I don't like about her is that her higher-level spells (like Meteo and Nuke/Flare) take a long time to cast, when a Summon can be done relatively shortly. Just cast the damn spell already.
But in IV, if you find the whip on the Moon, she can be one of the best fighters in your party, depending on what enemy you're facing.

I like Rosa. Yeah, she does need to be saved but it's not from really dumb situations (Rinoa in FFVIII needs to be saved FIVE TIMES). I always liked Rosa for some reason, but I love Rydia as well... I have so much Rydia fan art... hmm... I should share with you guys. I'll make an lj entry and link it, just for all of you. Be prepared for the edit in this post.

This is my favorite fanart... Simple yet beautiful.
My favorite is Rydia. Don't get me wrong I loved Rosa she was my second fav character in the game (behind Rydia).I can kind of understand why people think she is weak, But if you think about it, some of her intentions are kind of heroic. BTW nice fan art all of you :).

Ah Rydia... Quite possibly the second baddest lady in FF. Her and Terra should team up... Obviously that's my vote, though I've nothing against Rosa.

Poor Rosa... She's like the rest of the Jackson Five... I mean, who cares about them when Micheal was showboating. There's not much Rosa can do compared to a green-haired caller.
