Signature Service

The old signature thread was getting up to 1000 posts so it's time to start a new one again. Same rules apply:

* If you made a signature and want it hosted by one of our fellow members of EoFF, please post them here, and someone will try to host it for you.

* If you want someone to make you a sig, please provide details and any images you may want to include, and someone will be nice enough to make you a signature.

Please remember to follow these important limits for signatures so that I or another staff member won't have to remove them once you've/they've gone through all of the work to make them:

A maximum width of 550 pixels.
A maximum height of 250 pixels.
These include any text in the signature outside images.
Total file size of all images combined must not exceed 50 KB (51,200 bytes).
Any signatures not following these or any signatures with questionable or problematic content will be removed/edited by staff, and you may have your signature editing privileges temporarily disabled if this happens several times.

Was there anything from the other thread that needed hosting? I can't remember, and am too lazy to check.

Starlight Angel, if the sig you have now is one that you have made yourself, it's very good. However, please go back up to my first post and read the signature limits. If you make sigs for anyone, you must follow those limits. Your sig right now is 162 kbs over the limit of 50 kbs so please resize it. Thank you.

Usually there are lots of requests by now. How strange. I suppose if things back up too much, I can help with the sigs as well, though mine are rather simplistic.

Could someone make me a sig with a whale, the front on a pirate ship, and then sky and water? Pretty much like this but much nicer...

Also an avatar sized picture that has a black background and a capital italicized W! in it thats blue, please?

Could you give us the images you want to have on it? Im still kinda confused about what you want.

Sorry this was so hard. I don't have any images, but I'll look. What I want is a cartoony picture of water at the bottom, the top of a whale coming out of the water, and then the front of a pirate ship behind the whale. Like the ship was sailing towards the screen but then stopped at an intersection to let a whale swim from right to left. The middle of the front of the pirate ship should be in the middle of the picture and right behind the middle of the whale. *looks for some pictures*

EDIT
If this whale could be made to be completely horizontal and then cut the bottom of just below the eye for the watr it could work.

This may be a little tricky but could someone make me a sig with the attached images? I need "Death awaits..." in the top left hand corner and "Skye" in the bottom right.

Too difficult? Anyone up for the challenge?

Sorry my sig is so confusing. I'll take it step by step. Can someone rotate the whale so it's completely left and right instead of at an angle and then post it here? The only photo editing program I can use here is paint and that doesn't give that option.

Here's a rotated whale, but even with Saving to Web, it's a big file.

Ok, here's what I'm thinking.

-The name Siric in a cool font with the color green outlined in white in a corner.
-A moomba of course.
-Preferbly male.
-Orange background. Or anyother color that goes with orange.

I'll make it for you! I'd also do Strawberryman's , but I have no clue who those characters are and I can't find the non-battle sprite version of Gilgamesh, so I'll let someone else try his.

Yeah, good luck finding a noncombat Gilgamesh sprite, even the video game sprite sites don't have them. I'm sure there's one out there but it won't be easy to find it.

Hm.. I'm not good at making requests but here goes.

I want a sig with Anakin from Star Wars Episode 3. I can't find any pictures, but if you can find any, I'd like picture where he looks evil. The size can be whatever size you see fit.

Kay, could anyone make me a signature with the attached images and the words "Freak Power Lives On" (preferably in a weird looking font, something like from the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas movie cover, or like in my current signature)? Red actually looked almost the same, guess I can't stroke it with an actual color. So I used black to make sure it looks RED :)

Also, TheAbominatrix will need her sig done by someone else because I don't have any fonts even remotely close to that. All I have are simple fonts. I could make the sig then someone else could volunteer to put the text on it, but someone else might as well just do the whole thing. I'm up for doing that though if anyone would like to.

YOU are Rod V? Awesome. Love the work XD (Obviously). I just like that most of the cast pictures were a completely different take on the norm. And a very well done take on them to boot. i.e. this simple black mage looks bad ass, and I don't think even a fighter would want to mess with him. Where the real one is quite a push-over for the better part of the game. If you really are R.V. your work inspired new respect for most of the classes.

As for character placement I leave that up to whoever makes it.

Sorry, I'm a bit ticked right now because my computer's being a piece of junk and running slow as can be (I'm in the process of fixing the damn thing). So I can't get everything done right away. Well, due to my complete current lack of computer graphics software, I decided to come here.
Anyway, here it goes. If anyone at all could make up a signature using the any or all of the following images, I would be most appreciative. If you cannot tell, it is for the new Batman movie that will come out this summer, Batman Begins. Also, if you se anything that happen to fit the theme, let me know and I'll check it out. Anyway, once again, thank you to whoever undertakes this. I can provide hosting, so that is not a problem.
Size is preferable at the limits, 500 by 250 if I remember correctly. Since this would leave no room for me to give credit, feel free to place "made by [your name]" in the bottom right hand corner.

Hmmm... The images you supplied, are very sketchy, with broken lines.. I have just edited two of the images together, and it is quite a plain, white signature... Because of the drawings... But I will continue anyways! ^_^

EDIT: Ok... I have finished, yet it came out plain, since you requested no background XD. Maybe someone else should give it a go? Couldn't hurt ^_^

I don't know about anywhere else, but here the max file size limit is 50KB. So far, all of the sigs you've made have been above that. I recommend lowering the amount of layers you use possibly and using photoshop's (assuming you're using photoshop) handy "save for web" saving program, if you're not already using that. :) Just keep an eye on the file size. It's pretty easy to stay under. The gif ones are all fairly large, so they may not go under the file size limit. Hope I've helped. The sigs you make are very good and I'd hate to see them get removed. :)

Hmmm... I appolagise, I didn't know there was limit to the signature size.

I will change them soon. While saving, I chose everything at "maximum quality" which may be while they all went over... ^_^ Thanks for the suggestion!

It's in the very first post of the thread. Please read it. I see a lot of sigs here that are over the filesize limit and I will have to remove them if they're not resized in the very near future.

That happens to me too. Does anyone know what's up with that?

I have also noticed that... Images which are about 40k and over seem to grow over 50k during saving. Fortunately you can always choose the quality, so it's not such a big deal.

Hey, can somebody please make me a Sig? I'm running on an old PhotoImpact 4.0, and there is only so much I can do...If this is possible, I would like...
A black background, but if you find a color that works better its fine with me.

First copy the signature URL (I have hosted it) by right clicking, properties.

You just go to my CP (control panel) select signature, the liitle image icon (like clip art) and then paste the URL.
