You could always just get a program that reads the FMVs and plays them
on your computer, then use that to export them to AVI and then you
have your own home-made copies which you can host yourself.

Or just link to someone else's site. :\

Any idea what the time limit on their connection is? I tried uploading it to my domain's server. I think my router or their connection was restricting me though. I have cable, but it took more than 15 minutes and ended up resetting after about 35mb, which sucked

Yeah - this is a pretty uncool thing to do - if you're going to steal their bandwith, at least give the site some credit.

Also, anyone who has a computer and the FF game disc can watch the FMVs on their computer by downloading the free program PSXMC. It will automatically rip the FMVs from any of the PS1 discs and play them on your computer.

For FF10, just download FFX2MOV, which does the same thing.

I use both programs to make my music videos.

Yes - join http://animemusicvideos.org It's free, and they'll host your vid for free. All my FF8 and FF10 vids are uploaded there. :)

as long as the file is under 100mb it should work, I don't think they have any time limits or any thing... If you put it up tell me, I'll download it. n.n I'm always up for new AMVs.

and as for stealing bandwidth, is it that your to lazy to rip them yourself or what? Just wondering. It's kinda stupid to take things and out give credit also.

I've downloaded FF8-Dumpweed from that anime video site!

I can't make a link because it's one of those site with the 10 second wait then the download begins! I'll try to upload it!

Even if you made a link you'd have to be a member to download it and you have to wait 2 weeks after joining to download anything unless you give them money XD So it would basically be useless to anyone not already a member of the site. The 2 week waiting period is really worth it though, as it has tons of videos on the site. You also shouldn't upload some elses video without asking them first.

Thank you Shiva and Gull ^_^ Actually I just managed to uplaod it to my domain. Must have been the method I was using that reset rather than the server's connection. The FTP program maintained the connection the whole time. So I guess I'll check my stats and if everything's spiffy I'll make a thread about it's release finally @_@ Been like 2 years since I made it and never any public display...

Sorry guys that I havn't been updating the clips lately but today I just added the 2 after Ice Strike!!!

But it would be much more useful to post the link to www.bluelaguna.com. People could find ALL of the videos there at once and you would support their site (you know, it's THEM who host the clips!).

Also, to extract the movies yourself from the game, go here to download PSXmc. Although the page is in Japanese (it scared me at first too!), if you download the program onto an English computer the program itself IS in English. http://homepage2.nifty.com/~mkb/PsxMC/
