No, everyone knows that Zach is Ultimecia.
Z = U
Edit: Well, after looking at your other Thread I see that your opening this Thread was just attention-whoring/spam, but I'm going to leave this Post here anyway, as there are some people who really do think Cloud was Zack or some such thing.
-End Edit-
The guy at the market had the storyline totally misunderstood. Zack is from Gongaga. Cloud is from Nibelheim. They're not the same person, they don't have the same parents, and they don't have the same DNA.
Where your acquaintence at the market is confused is that Cloud was uncomfortable with who he was to such an extent that he couldn't handle what was done to his mind during Hojo's experiments, and Zack's psyche -- not shattered by the experimentation due to his acceptance of himself -- was Cloud's anchor to sanity so to speak. In fact, this was to such an extent that Cloud incorporated the things that Zack told him about himself from the Nibelheim mission into his own memories, and also adopted (in his mind) Zack's status as a member of SOLDIER.
Here's a dissertation I once wrote on the matter:

they are all the same, cloud had to fight his future self in order to set zachs embrio free. His future self is actually ultimecia because he morphed with something in another final fantasy game or something.
God, I love FFVIIQuote:

But Cloud IS dead. You find this out when you talk to Lucrecia and she and Cloud do the secret ghost handshake.
No, Cloud is only mostly dead. There is a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Zack is all dead. You see him get shooted if you go to the basement in Nibelheim during disc 3.
NOOT IF HES TEH WEEHLE CHAIR GUY FROM AC!!!!! !!1o1!!one!

to me it seems common knowledge to know zach and Cloud are TWO DIFFERENT people...but of course, there are the many fans who can twist up the most simple of thruths...and make it sound like the most truthful LIE...but i don't say i enjoy reading stuff like this...it's entertaining
plus
why couldn't cloud and sephorith be the same person? cloud was called a "clone" of seph...but of course, it was clarified that it has to do with the translation of japanese to english correct?
You can't revive Aries, it just some lie someone made up.Quote:

Write this password down and then go fire up FFVII. Get into battle with a character with a mastered "Revive" materia. Get into battle and kill and revive the enemies in it using Life2 (weaker enemies are easier to do this with), it doesn't matter which enemies or if it's the same one, for a combined total of 255 times (because of the large MP consumption needed, you'll need a lot of Elixirs or such, and the W-Item item duplication trick helps with this). After the battle you will find the Mythril Phoenix, which you take to the guy that collects Mythril. Give him the Mythirl Phoenix and he will ask you if you would like to use the Phoenix's power to see an old friend. Answer "Yes, I would like that" and he will ask you for the password. Enter it correctly and he will tell you that your friend is looking for you. Go to the forests by Junon where Yuffie first meets your party and you will meet Aeris in battle much the same way, except she rejoins you, similar to the way Gau does when he joins your party in FFVI.

Vaguely off topic here, but does anybody suspect that Rasputin might actually be Kathryn?!?!?
No, I actually said that it was "ridiculous." With, you know, correct spelling.Quote:
