Had my birthday yesterday, and I'm 20 now. It made me think of the years of unemployment and life wasting years spent in a cheap flat somewhere in the UK.
I'd like to go abroad after i finish uni, but I have no clue how to go about it. Anyone here moved abroad or just travelled the world before settling down?

Yeah, I'm from the United States. I just turned 20 last month. I've wasted years being unemployed all this time, and I'm an Uni student. And I'm clueless on where I want to go in life. :)
You're lucky - I'm 21.
Just remember: life begins at 40 (which of course is total rubbish).

I don't want to be 20, ever. The idea of becoming a responsible adult rather than an irresponsible teenager scares me.
It's even scarier when it actually happens.

Oh, you young pups! All this, "Gad! I just turned 20 stuff!" Makes all us 25 year olds feel like we should just give up! Wait until you realize you've wasted the first five years of your twenties.

I'm 20 and a half, and about to graduate from a prestigious UK university. The degree probably won't help me get a job, though. Probably just another degree...
Everyone I know who's gone abroad has done so through a university exchange program.
Whoops. too late for that now :mad: damn uni, didn't tell me about foreign placements.
Not to worry, I'm sure i'll win the lottery or something. :D

I turned 18 a couple of months ago, at that time I didn't know what the hell to do.
But luckily for me, I'm attending a Theater School, Monday.
What I'm going to do afterwards... why worry about that now?
