O.o Superdeformed characters...
The anime cutscenes and fighting look good, though. When's it coming out Stateside?

>>> Looks great...
See what crapcom can accoumlish with namco...

Damn that looks good, i wonder if we can have japanese voices, i really liked Mega Man's voice(or Rock as you could say) better than the English one they had here. So far its everything i could ask for, i hope they include Dan for kicks and funnies XD
Haha lol. :lol: Yeah, American megaman sounds wimpy. I think ken is an npc in there. Strider's special was SICK!! And cammy and chun-li! Oh, man I can't wait...
Chunny, Cammy, and Sakura in one game. It'll be awesome.
They have already been in one game. CVS2 & SFA3...
Dude....not since FFX-2 have I seen a trailer for a game and felt like this...this feeling of "OMG I WANT NOW!".
I've only watched the 6.6MB trailer so far...I'm downloading the 30MB one right now...but damn it all looked so awesome.
I will be buying this game when it comes out...it's like a game I've dreamt up and became reality.
It certainly looks fun. The chibified character design in combat isn't too appealing, but the combat style probably more than makes up for it. The cutscenes are gorgeous, and it certainly looks like it will be a fun game. My concern, however, is that the story will be weak and/or stupid, but if it's executed into a immersive gaming experience play-wise, that won't be so much of a problem, although it will be a dissappointment. I wanted to see Kos-mos fight, I hope we do get to see her fight in newer trailers.
It's a crossover RPG like Super Robot Wars. Of course it's going to have superdeformed combat.
Yeah like a chibi huh kishi?? What does that remind you of?? Oh well. The action looks great!!
I just think it'll be cool to see Bison and Albedo work together.
Chibi = +, not a bad thing ^^ i love chibi.
Yep the game looks great and no dought im gonna get it
But im concerned as I didnt see any sign of Kuma :(
I do too. Im just saying to kishi what does that remind him of...Quote:

imaginations ppl c'mon!
Yea, ever since I heard about this game, I've been hungry for more! IT seriously looks sweet... I'm really hoping it's come stateside... I'm fairly sure that it will... but it does seem like a game that wouldn't usually make it over here... but since it's such a big game with so many notable characters, I'm pretty sure it's come stateside sometime.
Anyone know who that guy with the black/white hair and blonde chick are from? They seem to be the main characters, so I was thinking they're original to the game, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, yea. This game looks like it's rock! I just with they used Xenosaga 2 designs instead of the originals.
This game looks so awsome. I want to play some characters. Strider, Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and many, many, more. The cutscenes are so awsome and the characters are small chibi little things. *drools* I WANT THIS GAME NOW!!!!!!!!
FF6 also wasn't blantantly chibi, it was sprites. There's a difference. This is BLANTANTLY chibi and I think it takes away from the seriousness of the combat.Quote:

FFVI could have had huge Street Fighter-style sprites if Square wanted to do that, but they made the choice to go with the superdeformed look and weren't any worse off for it.
I'd say FFVI worked with how they did it. I didn't find the sprites hard to take seriously.
This is different. The fact that the art was intentionally done like this strikes me as a bad choice, it doesn't seem to fit with the way the game was portrayed from what I saw in the trailers. I imagine a large part of it is because the cinematic scenes are all done with full-sized characters. If it was totally chibi it probably wouldn't be that big a deal to me.
And I'm not saying I won't discount the game because of it, it just annoys me that they did that with the art.
