Well, there is less than a month now until Revenge of the Sith opens in theaters across the world. As a fan myself, the wait is half over, just a few more weeks now lol. After seeing the full-length trailer a few weeks ago, plus the new TV Spots, this movie is definetely going to be the best of all six. Feel free to post your thoughts, but no spoilers please!
I don't mean to sound like a moron, but what is Revenge of the Sith?
The best of the new trilogy, yes.
The best of all six...unlikely.
However i am looking forward to it aswell.

I'll be doing an overnight camp out at the theatre (it's so much fun), most likely with ShlupQuack and a lot of other people you guys dont know. I cant wait to see it. I love Star Wars, and even though the prequels dont hold a candle to the originals (and really, the prequels havent been great at all, with the exclusion of the sabre battles), the amazing feeling of seeing it at the theatre, and all the fun beforehand, is worth it.
I'm also very excited, because there's going to be a preview of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe along with RotS.
They should just save themselves sometime and call it "Revenge of the" because that is what the movie will be...
yeah, my bro works at AMC so were gonna see it a day early. it looks good. definatly the best outta the new 3. by the way, what is RotS?

Meh, call it nerdish if you wish, but I know ALOT of people who aren't even fans going to this one. I like the prequels and ot, but I still believe this will be the best of the six, at least to me it will be.
They should keep making these movies.
Not true. Return of the Jedi was rumored to be Revenge of the Jedi, a rumor started by George Lucas himself. He did this because, with Empire Strikes Back, as soon as the name was known, people began to make pirate goods bearing the name. So Lucas started the Revenge of the Jedi rumor, to both screw over the illegal-goods-making-guys, and protect the fans, because, according to Lucas, any Star Wars fan would know that a Jedi does not take revenge.Quote:

But for a huge movie premer...My friends amass in the range of 10-15 people as it is...there is not a whole lot of time to meet new people let alone talke to everyone that is there.
For the Matrix movies we took up a whole row or more at the theater we had so many people. Both of them. We were still the first ones in the theater. I don't mind meeting new people but from what you described....those are not the type of people I want to meet :D
All of this and I also don't think any movie theater near me would allow this lootering. I know I have never seen people in my area do this. Just the show up a half-hour early plan. Plus...if you camp out then you can't have a kick ass BBQ before hand ;)

I'm a huge Star Wars fan (Hell, I own 50+ books) and am extremely hyped about the movie. I'm not one to camp out at a theatre or dress up as a character, but I'll be seeing it as soon as I can. A group of friends and I are debating whether or not to see it Wednesday night and ditch school Thursday, or see the movie the next day.
Interesting Star Wars trivia: The color of Luke's lightsaber on the Star Wars Encyclopedia was incorrect. Or something to that effect. Anyway, never judge a book by its cover! :D

I just heard off theForce.net that there will be a SW live action show that takes place between RotS and ANH! They are scheduled for 100 episodes, lasting an hour an episode! How cool is that!? George himself will be directing the first season, so no worries about who the director is! Note, they said 'first season'. May there be more? Still, a LIVE ACTION SW show, this is what fans have been begging for since the Ewoks special...
I'll do my best to see it ASAP, but I doubt I'll see it openning night. I'm really looking forward to it, though I am a little bummed out that this is the end until someone else buys the franchise to makes Ep. VII-IX. Of course, if it's someone other than Lucas making them they'll be worse than Ep. I and II already are. Granted Ep. I and II weren't that bad.
Interesting. I havent heard anything about it myself, but that sounds promising. Though to note, I wind up more worried when Lucas directs than otherwise, he seems too obessed with visual effects these days. Hopefully the tv show will happen, and turn out beautifully.Quote:

He's making two shows--one a Computer Animated continuation of the Cartoon Network Clone Wars cartoon, to be extended into 30 minute episodes, and the live-action series mentioned above.
Yeah, usually there's about 27 to 30 episodes in a season, so the 100 he's talking about most likely extends into another season.
Im looking forward to Episode III- however, I read on imdb that Lucas had to force himself to write the script. That worries me no end. Forced writing never seems to great. Lets just hope they dont turn it into a special effects extravaganza in an attempt to cover a weak script.
Looking forward to it. I'm not going to line up for hours waiting for a ticket. I'll see it when the crowds die down a bit.

Should be good, unlike most people I actually like the newer Star Wars more than the old ones. My favourite Star Wars movie is Episode I. Whenever I tell people this they look at me like I'm crazy but I don't care. But damn did the podracing suck. :roll:

I completely agree with you on this one... I mean I liked the older three, but it wasn't until episode I came out that I became a fanatic. I just love the whole concept of going back to the very beginning after seeing part of the story, getting to see the transition of Anakin's character, and how intricate the storyline is, with so many characters connected in so many minor and major ways. Also, for those who were worried about a weak script...I've already read it, it's going to be a great one. While there's more action in this one than the first two combined, the storyline still flows nicely and does a good job of tying everything together. I don't want to get too into anything and risk leaking spoilers, so I'll just say that I already know how the movie will play out, but you can bet I'll be seeing it a dozen times before it comes out on DVD :)Quote:

I look forward to seeing Revenge of the Sith. The trailers look dark and dramatic, the soundtrack is very operatic and uses a lot of choir, and the plot seems to be interesting (although I'm worried how much of it will be action). Although I don't know if it can be as good as the Empire Strikes Back (RotS the movie and its score have to do a lot to beat ESB), it might become the best Prequel Trilogy movie. :)

I've read a few reviews of this movie. So far the consensus seems to be that this movies puts episode 1 and 2 to shame. I hope this is true because I am actually looking forward to this one.
