What if Final Fantasy ended?

Let's just say that the Final Fantasy series ended after say, Final Fantasy XII(God forbid that it won't), what will you do? What do you think will happen to the gaming industry? Will it affect it in any way?

As for me, I will cry if the FF series ended lol. I've been there with Final Fantasy since the beginning and I've spent so many years playing the games, listening to the music and Role Playing the characters that a part of me will be lost. What will I have to look forward to in the future? Nothing, the FF series is pretty much the only RPG series that I really enjoy. I'm sure a lot of other people out there feel the same way as I do about this subject, we all know it will happen one day though, we just don't know when.

...In all honesty, I'd be really annoyed. Probably a more than a little sad, too.

I wonder when the next Xenosaga game is coming out?

Don't get off topic! But yeah, just looking back on the old FF games makes me sad, lol. I do kind of miss the old 2-D games.

Good thing they'll keep remaking them until the end of time.

I hope final fantasys dosen't die

because if they did die so would my ps2, ps1, this forum, me( probably) the creators, all the square enix staff and all the fans :(

I'd keep playing the old ones, like I do now. This forum would hardly die. People are still discussing FFVII and VIII like they just happened.

The sun would rise, the world would maintain its orbit, my cat would still try to pounce my ankles, and water would not turn to blood.

The earth would shake, the seas would boil, and fire and brimstone would rain down from the skies.

Or we could just move on with our lives. There are other games besides Final Fantasy, you know. And many of them are much better.

They made enough good FFs anyway ^^ I wouldn't mind. The older/semi-older ones are the best ^_~

: / if Final Fantasy were the only game series available world wide, I would play it. That's how I feel about the FF series, if it ends then I won't really have any other games to play.

Well, I'd be disappointed that there'd be no chance I'd ever enjoy a *new* FF again. But that seems to be the case as is anyway, considering I haven't been the happiest with the last few releases I've played. And 12 doesn't look to re-inspire me either. I'd be happy they lived such a long and rich life. But I'd consider it a full life. I'd rather them end before they hit 20... or maybe right on 20. The name just seems so rediculous. FFXIX I can understand. But FF20 just sounds weird... 21 is just a no-go. There ARE other games out there. There ARE better games out there. I'm not much of a gamer as is, but my gaming life is certainly not hinged on FF. Especially not these days

I'd be sad, and would then proceed to play a different RPG and appreciate Zelda more than I do already.

I was very much on topic. That would be my reaction if Final Fantasy ended. There are plenty of other good game makers out there, I don't have to rely only on Final Fantasy for my RPG fix.

Even if you guys aren't fond of certain games, other people are, and might use them as a bridge to play ones that you might find more worthy.

for that reason, it's not wise to be sacrificing x-2^_^

Tetris is not a game with a deep storyline, interesting characters, and multiple sidequests that would keep people talking about it. Besides, with the way this world is I don't doubt there is one out there.

I probably wouldn't change at all, since I haven't owned one since VIII. I'd just play the old ones, Zelda, and any other game that passed my way.

As for the gaming industry, it's probably just keep on trucking along.

In a way I wouldn't be that bothered, because its not like its a big part of my life, but in another I guess I would be pretty pissed as I've been playing the games since I was about 8.
I think they need to start making decent games again though, because from where I am in FFX-2, It seems pretty shizzle, but I guess I haven't played the full game yet...
