I loved this game, and hated Algus so I composed this thread, I hope to recieve posts from people and if i'm thinking correctly we may get more than 101 reasons why Algus needed to die so...enjoy
P.S. please type along with the numbers in the same style all the way through
1)Algus wanted you to help a man who posed to be one of the hardest fights in the game in chapter 4 (not so much him as his stupid assassin girls)
2)He is retared, Duh!

13) Hated Delita's blood, as he was a commoner, and he didn't even know the guy!
14) Doesn't see enough action to be useful in any type of combat situation.
15) His Night Killer crossbow makes a lovely trophy.
16) He killed my goblin :mad2: ...not the best reason since it doesn't apply to anyone else but it's "A" reason
17)Used people.......GODDAMN,I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE USE OTHERS!!!! I have been used & abused emotionally.......so,I feel strongly about that.......*mutters to self* Stupid human nature.......
18)Was absolutely no help to you in any battle he was in...
19)Arrogance is obnoxious, especially from such a moron as Algus...
20) Dies too easily, especially if you're trying to protect him.

to correct you, its the man who decided to save him (if you say killing death corps is your job he says ''fine, ill save him'' [i know technicaly thats a spoiler but its the 3rd battle of the game -_-)

24)had the annoying ''auto potion'' ability
25)was retarded and used an xbow rather than a sword for knight class
(i honestly believe he woulda been more deadly with a decent sword)

Actually, he didn't do either (though technically he killed Gologros, so thats reason 39) He did punch a random Death Corp. member in Dorter, which is a really confusing scene is you used a Moderator to get that same Knight in your party (like I did :D )Quote:

Seriously, Algus is the only person I've ever actually hated in a video game.

I vote Elmdor, and I agree that he is cooler than Sephiroth.
I do think Elmdor is cooler than Sephiroth, which is why I vote Wiegraf, especially since so many people have trouble with that fight.

I gotta say Elmdor cause 1) he is rather cooler than Sephy and 2) His fight is also rather hard, and you can't work it, like you can with Weigraf's fight (Scream your lungs out while using Chakra to build up like 6 turns, kill him, then kill the Zodiac in no more than two, if not one! :D)

As much nas I hate him, I have to sympathize with the fact that in a tough world, the only way to get ahead it to get your hand dirty. But the bastard had auto potion at Zeakden and that makes it kinda hard when you go in with low level characters sometimes.
I'll count the above as number 18.
19. This sort of goes for Algus and Weigraf: They are both like Hitler. Wanting certain groups of people, or people against them exterminated.
20. Weigraf did the same move to me over and over at Riovanes Castle! That damn Lightning Stab move!
21) For having a Pair of Monks and a Chocobo at Lenalia Plateau, stupid healers.... (i think, anybody remember that battle with a knight also?)

im going to put the reason i hate Algus anyway :tongue: ... He could use a learn a few knight skills as a squire i dont know why it does but it just annoys me
