Yeah, my first thought when I looked at 'em was they're scary too. xD
In the future of gaming, people have fat ugly faces.
I am unimpressed. They are not High resolution screenshots and no close ups to see the detail which means it probalby isn't there. The only thing I see that is really different is improved texture power, greater draw distance and anti-aliasing.

Although I can't always trust Sony or Microsoft when it comes to prerelease screenshots...
BOTH companies doctor their screenshots to make them look better than they really are... its a way to hype things up... but its really not very honest... They use photoshop and aply a gausion blur or something like that to make things in the screenshots look like there are more polygons than there really are...
(hate to be a Nintendo fanboy, but Nintendo has NEVER digitally edited/enhanced their screenshots!)
But still these screens look awesome! I think the next gen systems will be as near photo real as we need... anything better probably wont look that good. lol
I'm still going to firmly beleive that the future of gamming will develope into sensory input directly into the brain... soon that will be the only way to make it even better. It can't get too much more real after these next systems, unless this is the direction it takes us.
The reflective surfaces on that car were just amazing.

Who the hell needs 16 bits? C'mon man let's play Pitfall until our hearts stop.
16 Bit and 32-Bit were my favorite game era's.
Objectively, though, video games are getting better every year.
Anyway, these are screenshots of people walking around on the street and etc. The actual game will not look as good as these screenshots and etc. So basically those pictures tell me nothing. If I actually read the article, I might learn something, though. Someone do that and tell me how it works out.
Meh. Who wants realism in games? Don't we have enough of that in real life? Okay, so I guess a lot of people do. But it won't interest me. *avoids xbox still*
Life is an awful game, but the graphics are amazing.
