Wow, didn't even notice that, you're obsevent. Tifa also now has black hair when it was brown before, and Yuffie appearitly isn't motion sick anymore, they screwed up in some places with the characters, remember it's been 8 years, they can't remember everything.
tifa could have dyed her hair and yuffie could have gotten used to motion cos it has been two years between the end of vii and the start of ac

yea, pretty confident they are SUPPOSED to be blue eyes...remember when Cloud got lost in the lifestream and found in Mideel? When Tifa shows up she over hears two men talking...and one of the men describe Cloud eye's as "those wierd blue eyes..."

Cloud's eyes were blue. Mako itself is green, but Cloud's eyes were blue. It isnt the color of the eyes that changes because of Mako infusion, it's the additon of a glowing quality.

Zack could also be taken as proof that being infused with Mako doesn't make your eyes turn green. In the few scenes you saw of him during the game, his eyes were clearly blue. Blue-violet, even. But not green. O_o

Clouds eyes are blue, and if you dont believe me just go to google seach and type in clou and zoom in on his eyes.
ehh yes his eyes are blue, its just that in some concept art it was changed to green. But for tifas hair colour, i dont think there is definite answer, its sometimes completely black, sometimes clearly brown, sometimes inbetween. I dont think even Squaresoft knew for definite what kind of hair colour they wanted to give her...

I havent seen any concept art where Cloud has green eyes.
Some concept art scans on-line make Cloud's eyes appear green-ish, but that's because the color contrast settings are slightly off. In the original art they were blue.
I always thought of him with a greenish blue colored set of eyes...

Cloud's eyes are blue... they always have been. As far as I remember, Aeris is the only main character with green eyes.
Yes they have a mako glow. But they're blue.

The Japanese like feminine men. They make their character designs very very feminine... just look at the Amano art for Cloud. It doesnt translate well to the blocky graphics of FFVII, but is easily seen in Advent Children, and in the FMVs for later games.

The reason why they thought that Cloud had green eyes is because of the mention of green in his eyes by Aeris when they're talking about Zack for the first time, and the saying "they had mako eyes" (which confused another person by making them think that his eyes were green.)
