The PM limit for No-EoEO peoples is low and it is sad. I had to delete 1000 PMs before I could respond to one BoB sent me, and then I tried to send one to DMKA and his box was full too.
Can you raise it please? Just for the sake of not having to delete PMs that we would otherwise not have to delete? OR MUST YOU TRAMPLE OUR RIGHTS TO something something...

Former Staff have a large limit. When you get moved into another user group you lose this large limit.
Let's just ban them. :freak:
Maybe that's just the limit for not being a former staff, since your horrible acts caused you to get kicked out. Either that or you can't be in both at once.

DMKA wasn't former staff, and he's also got a smaller limit. Though I'm not sure if that was a result of the EoEO ban or the Drunk Tank. xP

I'm just bringing this up because I got a PM from BoB, and then in order to respond I had to quick-style delete 1000 PMs. I don't even know what I deleted 'cause I felt that this atrosity had snuck up an ASSAULTED me, so I didn't have the time to go through at my leisure and find 1000 PMs I didn't mind not saving.

when you get put in a temporary ban group you lose whatever privledges you got from your normal group. That's just how it goes.
I wasn't former staff either when I got banned from making threads for a day :p My PM limit looked so small... You can't be in two usergroups at the same time ^^

admins can put people in multiple user groups, I think.
I don't know if I'd consider the amount of PMs to be a privilage, but if having to delete a lot of PMs in order to be able to continue to use the PM system is an additional punishment, along with not being able to post in EoEO or EoW for a couple of weeks, I feel it's excessive and should be re-considered.Quote:

I just thought I was pointing out what I assumed was an unintended side-effect of being EoEO banned, not opening a can of worms about how I deserve what I get or whatever. I don't even think I deserve to be banned, but was willing to deal with it silently since the staff has been having a hard time with people being douche bags, but if we're going to get into this then I will say:

It really, at this point, just depends on who sees your post or who you're posting about. I'm assuming my post got me banned only because the person it was directed towards is, as I was banned for calling him, an abrasive ass, and warned me because he likes to complain about how awful he's treated because he's a conservative, and, thought I have conservative views, I must be a conservative-hating liberal because I think he's an abrasive ass.

Well I was never aware that losing PMs was part of the punishment, and I gotta say, eest, that I don't think you should assume that it is. Unless it was something that was discussed in the couple of weeks that I've been gone, then I would hope staff would discuss it now whether or not a PM loss would be a part of the punishment or not.
And Drunk Tank's PM limit is currently 350, by the way. Not that that group is used a lot anyway.

It's not part of the punishment, it's just teh case that banned groups don't get bonus PMs. The assumption is that anyone who is on staff, RM, former staff, or whoever else has extra PMs won't be put in these groups. It's just an unintended consequence.Quote:

1000 for everyone who is in a non-restricted group and isn't a CK/Admin/Former Staff, as far as I know.
