I have just realised I have a collection of four mugs and three glasses on my desk.
I have deemed this information suitable enough to share with you all.
What collections do you have on your desk, or infact, in your room?
I am also currently collecting an interesting culture of fluff, bactieria and bits of paper on my floor. It's a bio-diverse culture bourne from the fact I have not hoovered said carpet in about 3 months.
My room, is infact, a tip.

In my room there are collections of:
Rock CDs from 2 years+ ago.
A cabinet full of chick flick DVDs.
A cabinet full of video game discs.
Shoes of all types.
Purses of all sizes.
Pens that have something fluffy at the top tip.
Books. Many many shelves of books. (Yes, I do read.)
Stuffed toys. Some are new, too. (I'm not that old. Or am I?)
Notebooks and stationery with flower and heart patterns. I come from college all tired and leave them laying around till the next time I need them.
The desk doesn't hold all these, just some stuffed toys, pens, notebooks in the drawer and those things you put your coffee mug on so the desk wouldn't get wet.
Nothing much interesting, I try and keep it pretty clean, and my scanner fills up most of the desk...I have a little panda and a little simba on my monitor though! And a Sonic and Tails cut out on the side of my monitor that I got from a game shop. It's awesome n__n

CDs that I keep under and next to my pillow .. *yup*
I collect drugs, beer, and hookers, my room is a real big mess
On my desk is:

Various collections of doodles.
A few pens.
A glass.

A bottle lid.

This thread has made 17 posts without spam. I will award it by not posting about collecting bugs. Instead I will say my collection of stuff at home would be records, video games, CD's, and various junk because I do not have a desk their right now, I think.
On my desktop? Nothing. Its a small one, so not much can fit. I've got a hairbrush and thats it. :D
The most interesting thing on my desk is a roll of toilet paper. I have no clue how it got there. o.O

Lots of pens, a flashlight, strategy guides, clothes, my old PS2 that crapped out on me, a box with pictures, some unopened Anime DVDs, games, cd cases, a cd of Matchbox 20, GameInformer Mags, Software upload discs, did I mention the paper, a nerf football, a kiddy grade guitar, Big Rex (plastic Gorzira thing), there's a Chinese fan on my wall, a calendar scroll for last year, a furly flag for San Francisco, a tiny toy car (don't know what kind; it's upside down on the floor and I don't want to get up), boxes (I don't know why they're there) . . . OK, just junk.
On my desk:

there's a plastic cutout of some chick from card captors sakura, a pengiun, VGCH the frog, a turtle, a terrapin, a giraffe, a cross that says 'God is Love', a gremlin fox, a grasshopper, a weird voodoo looking thing we found in the piano, a blue elephant, a pink pig, and Bam the TY beanie Ram.

On my desktop:
monitor,speakers,mouse,keyboard,phone,hair tie,several cigarette butts,guitar pick,nail clippers,various cd's,statuette of a thinking man,half-empty bottle of lukewarm beer,paper with boring numbers on it,modem,router,sexy lady. That's about it.
Pretty much some of my Genesis cartridges lie on my desk. Mostly some cups and bowls from stuff I was eating and drinking, plus a ton of empty soda bottles and CD cases, and some video game stuff. I really need to clean my room sometime.
laptop in the middle, PS2 to one side with game CDs lying out of their cases, paper, holes and scratches (like on a cutting board). don't worry, i didn't decapitate anything on my desk.
People have some very small collections in this thread. *bops all you people who just listed every single item they have*
At work (I can't remember what's on my desk at home) I have a collection of post-it notes, First Engineering asset tags and pens. Oh, and envelopes. And if you count the extension of my workdesk, I also have a collection of very full lever arch files.
