Just curious, really. Think of this as kind of a census.
EDIT:
Speaking of census...
This oughta be of some help for those Americans who don't know off-hand. It'll give ya a good guesstimate.

Hometown, I dunno. Town I live in right now, between 70,000 and 80,000 -- it's perfect ^^
Fresno has somewhere around 450,000 people and rising. We're gettin' popular here, I guess.
Yeah but, we're not TOO huge, we're not hicksville small, AND we have a great mall xD That's all a town needs, really.
10,000,000 people, give or take a few tens of thousands.
Fort Worth has about 550,000 people, making it the 26th largest city in the US, by my count.
The second one, prolly. We's little ;_;
Yams, I thought the actual city of Los Angeles only had like... 2,000,000 people.
Not that it matters in this poll, just sayin'.
Yeah, I cheated. I included all of Los Angeles County. :p The City of Los Angeles has about three and a half million people in it.
I want somebody who lives in Mexico City to blow us all away, though.
Oh, yes, that reminds me.
We're talkin' about the actual city you live in, born and raised in, whatever you qualify as your hometown. No metro areas or anything like that. :)
80 grand. A very nice size.
EDIT: Apparently at some point it grew to an even hundred. You can hardly notice.
50,000. I think my town has tried 3 times for cityhood and failed. Not that I mind. I like how tiny this place is, it beats the chaos of Los Angeles.
live in now - about a mil
hometown - 40 thou
haha, as of 2000, we have left the 900 range to join the 1271!
hicksville :(
18,000.
My hometown has around 40k within the city itself, and around 85k within the city limits.
I think it's about 10,000-20,000 people in my home town... give or take.
Hastings, England - Around 120,000.
65,000 approximately
Well over 1,000,000 - unfortunately. :/
My town Mandurah has about 50 000 people living in it and it's growing still.
Oh yeah, my "town" is actually bigger (over 100,000 I guess?) if you include all the little towns inside my town... xD Works funny, cos' I can bike from my town -> different towns -> back to my town and still be going in a straight line. XD

The estimated population, as of 1 January 2005, was 7,421,228 in Greater London, and several million more in London's metro area.
Heh I live in littles ville.
We got about 2,000 people or less(more likely less).
Anyways we got alot of industry and commerce.... I mean really. We got a pizza parlor, medical clinic, 3 banks, 6 or 7 churches, mortocycle shop(well last I checked it was still up there), lawyers office, drivers training, 4 or 5 bars/clubs(at least), police, fire department, post office, hardware store, 3 or so convience stores(2 are also gas stations), hmm we got a restruant or two.. one of them may be a subway by next school year, we got at least 6 or 7 factories in town(at least).. blah blah blah(there is buch more, such as barber shops, furnerture stores, hair stylists, tanning booths, couple car garages, etc). Anyways we blow other small towns in our area out of the water when it comes to variety in town. Of course we are placed (conviently?) right in the center of several towns(4 or 5) of which we usually get a lot of traffic from.
Blah, wrote more then I intended.
I live in Shanghai.
We're talking billions.
Mine was like 16,000 when I was born, and is now approaching 200,000... I think. That's what my grandma says anyhoo.
I can't name everyone in my town, but I can name some who have slept with everyone in town.
Auckland: Population 1.2 million apparently (although I was sure it was closer to 1.8 million, maybe it depends on which of the greater Auckland regions you count).

There's about ~40, 000 people that live here, and its lowering rapidly.

Windsor is around 6,000.
2.
I don't remember there being another.
Haha, yeah, I just checked. :D
Somewhere between 70,000 and 120,000.
My home town? It's in L.A. county like Yams (Torrance)....I really don't know how many are there....I never thought about it.
Where I currently reside has almost no life, and the little bit of life here is just racist prejudice hateful tormenting trash. It's effing depressing. This is not my home, and never will be...I've just been trapped here for the last few years waiting to return home.
But September is on it's way. Yay! :D
Wait, by hometown, are we talking place you were born or place were you "grew up".
I hate having moved a lot. :(
