Appreciating the EoFF Archives.

This is a thread about the wonderful archive we have here at EoFF.

The archive contains many INCREDIBLE threads from over the years; some funny, and some ... not so funny. Either way, they're all there for a reason (or so we're told), and now it's up to you to pick your favourites and tell us why you like them so much.

After all, what's the point of having an archive if you can't discuss it and have some fun with it?

My personal picks are as follows:

1. Something Awful
2. "Me New Website"
3. Official RSL Avatars
4. Giant Cockroaches
5. Partners...

Classic stuff, no doubt.

edit: I'll pick later - some ones off the top of my head are "vey odd poem by auron", "Something Awful", various Del songs and RSL for this and that, and anything that I've posted in. :)

The Singing Unne Petition is the thread which spurned my "Location" which as far as I know hasn't changed since. The Anti-Guys-In-Dresses Thread was pretty amusing, as was Pass the Bleys, please - although that was probably more amusing for Staff than the members, I'll admit. Oh, you can't forget The Postcard Bandits, that was a real classic EoFF moment. Of the banned-member-threads, I'm all for Shadow's mad as a bug one. yun needing a wife was also great. But you just can't forget this one.

And, last but certainly not least, the best thread ever.

How come my "is joel an admin yet" thread in the archives? It was no joke.

There's my thoughts about the General Archive, in order to win the General Archive, and the post is ironically now in the General Archive. Well, archived awards but that is a mere subforum!
