Alot of characters from prevous Final Fantasy have had some big thing revealed about them like:

Cecil: (SPOILER)Moon Man (I think)
Terra: (SPOILER)Esper (That count?)
Cloud: (SPOILER)Had the thoughts of someone else
Squall: (SPOILER)This one isn't so big I guess, Laguna's his dad and he grew up with all of his party members. except Rinoa.
Zidane: (SPOILER)Comes from another planet
Tidus: (SPOILER)Dream of the Fayth
There could be more, but anyway suggest what you think Vaan is going to be.

Humiculus -- I think that's what they're called. anyway it will be revealed that Sr. Vaan is actually under the control of the real bad guy who actually created him long ago, in a sinister plot to destroy both empires and rule the world himself *shock* *horror*.

Vaan is going to be a theif or something. I don't really think there will be much for surprises for im, honestly.

Zidane was a dead give-away. He had a tail and he didn't know where he was from.

He's going to turn out to be the twin brother of Adolf Hitler. It's the next logical step really.

So in other words, spoiler tags aren't really needed except for very rare occasions when we find out something new in a recent game.

I feel so old that these games are all 'ancient' now, considering they still kind of feel like 'new' games to me (FF7, 8, 9 for example). I can feel wrinkles in my forehead and I'm only 18! Oh noes.

Well then, tank yoo berry much for that info. Vaan may very well be the reincarnation of Lucifer in human form. That would be interesting to take a 'Angel Sanctuary' twist on thing (but not original :( )

I find this title amusing. I'd probably laugh if he really was an experiment...

RPG's tend to have the main character/characters be something special like that, but, I just can't see Vaan being anything but human... well, we'll see... maybe his big thing won't have to do with his race...

He is soppost to be someone who wants to become a pirate, if you went to the Sony Press Confrince, then you would see the trailer, it had beautiful music, I personaly thought FF8 had the best music, but FF12 music blew my mind. It was the best. Then the voices in japanese are kind of manly for a guy who looks like he should have a softer voice (you know the guy with the gun), but do you remember how irritating Tidus's voice was? Well Vaan's needs work. It sounds like the girl who did Rikku in english would do a better job on his voice! It sounded so girly! I was laughing so hard after the press confrince with my dad! I actually went, but I found this when I was searching for bloopers for Final Fantasy. They also talked about what it would look like if they remade Final Fantasy VII on the PS3 (its so small, if you thought that the newest ps2 was small... HAHAHAHA. Its a little bit bigger, but its silver.) When you get to the site, at the top of the site is a search box, type in final fantasy xii and scroll down and you will see it.

Fore Final fantasy x, it was in ffx-2 that you saw who the evil guy was, it was Shuin.

Because of this, he seeks out help from Ashe, a 'Most Trustworthy' assassin for hire, and they undertake the name 'Sephiroth' as a codename. After doing a few jobs on their own, Baltheir turns up, revealing there is a secret society called 'Le Shinra' out to get them. Soon after, Panelo turns up, claiming to be the 'True Sephiroth'. This all ends with a showdown to the death against Fran, in which she gets 'symbolically' plunged into a volcano after some aggrivating talk about heaven and hell.

What? It's FF. There HAVE to be pretentious religious referances thrown around for no reason.

Well, there has to be SOME kind of plot twist, or else it wouldn't be FF. Thing is, I'm not sure who or what it will happen to.

Seriously though, I think Panelo and Chloe are a lot alike. Both of them have childlike demeanors, though Panelo seems to be a bit more worldy than Chloe.

That and the fact that Panelo and Vaan are a good couple. But of COURSE, we'll have to sit through another painfully forced FF romance between Ashe and Vaan. I mean, at least Mereille and Kirika had CHEMISTRY.

Actually, my uncle calls Chloe "Psycho Chick" because of the fork thing.
The fork seriously freaked me out at first.

I don't think Penelo could be as cold as Chloe can be, when Chloe is happy, then, yeah, maybe Penelo can pull a happy Chloe.

Anyway, yeah, spamming... there WILL be something with Vaan, but I seriously doubt he'll be anything but human, if he is then, it'll be prety hard to get me to beileve he's a Seeq.

Actually, Panelo and Vaan are a couple, or at least thats what I read in a magazine. I forget which one, it in my room though, I'll get it later. Anyway, appearently they decided not to do the normal thing where the main character ends up with the princess, and instead did something more realistic.So yeah, from what I know, Vaan is with Panelo.

Bet Vaan gets melted by fire and has to wear a black life support suit and changes his name to Darth Vaan................or not :D

Half way through the game Is when the Secret of Vaan will be Revealed. He was a small baby that was cloned on the moon for invading another world. However the World was invaded By men and he was stolen for the emporers evil plots. However, The emporer Thought how he could make him an absolute killing machine, so he used the dead souls that romed the planet to alter the baby even further by fusing with him the Geens of Peseroth, his ultimate warriar, along with some random large scarry monster. However when realeased to the public, he was unruly in school do to the excess of power flowing through him, which, after school, destroyed his memory of the event, and somehow the power destroyed everyone elses to, except for the one who later becomes a space pirate. In adition to all of this, His dad mysteriously disaperead before the moon was invaded, leaving him and all the other clones behind. You than later find out, his dad was the emporer, who, do to a freak accident involving radioactive hair activater, fused with the original emporer creating an evil diabolicl beast that wants to destroy mankind.


As a side note, all of his companions were classmates with him.
