I just said I appeared to be the only person who wasn't mostly looking forward to sequels, good for you reading deeply into that and seeing that, of course, what I meant was that everyone who wants a sequel of a game is a horrible and stupid person.

Too many sequels stifle creativity and originality though.

When you can make money, and you're assured of that, from just producing another sequel, then why should a company make an original game that might not necessarily make any money at all?

That is not to say that I don't enjoy sequels, but there ARE admittedly far too many, especially sequels for just bad games, and many that just should not be.

Phantasy Star Universe is a PREquel. How's that?

I just read the official release date is July 6th in the US, so I don't see how you could get it here so quickly unless you imported it, as it came out 6 days ago in Japan. The art style is amazing--I just hope the gameplay holds out.
