as soon as i beat ffvi this weekend im gona replay vii for the third time. this time im gona rename all the characters something totally different. any ideas? does anyone think a certain character look like a certain name, etc? any ideas are wecome. ill post what im naming them after i hear some names. thanks.

I remember the main lineup from Midgar but I forget all the others.
I remember when I was like 7 I named everyone in FFVI Potty, you can try that.

I named Red XIII to Rex the second time I played it. Or FireBreather. He looks like he's on fire.
This time around I gave Cloud the name "Peter Pan". It makes the storyline more interesting.
How about using all your friends' names as characters? I remember I did that one time for Chrono Trigger
Yeah, after a few playthroughs, I just name all the characters after people I know.
i.e. Main character = me, and the main character's love interest = a girl I know...
You might name Vincent "D". I don't know why, but those two are pretty similar in my mind. >.>

LOL I called barret Mr.T one time. And I named redxiii Nanaki. When you get to the tiny bronco He will say "I'm Nanaki, also known as Nanaki". You could name them as characters from other FFs. The last time I played it I named everyone after characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Yuffie- Yuffie (too lazy to name her "Ninja Man")

Astroman's a wimp, and if anything, Cloud is Swordman. As for Aeris, you could name her Serenade from the original NT Warrior comics, since she sacrified herself so Megaman could beat Bass. Original series though, I'm also out of ideas.Quote:

I don't see why people go through the trouble of renaming their characters things like, "my boobs" and "that swelling" when they won't make sense in every line.
If you want to hear those things in your head, go ahead and think it, but why further ruin the already dodgey dialogue?
