I need to complete this game. and now that I've got a few weeks spare I want to do it now, but this game turns me off so much.
Everytime I decide to play it I always back out, so I'd like you good people who've played the game through to give all the reasons you can think of as to why this game is excellent and make me want to play it.
How about if you don't play the game within these next few weeks i'll send 5 fbi agents to wreck all your final fantasy stuff and consoles that can play it. Ummm and you get to kick seifers @$$ with squall later in the game.
it has a great sroryline and youve got mare than enough time on your hands to complete it even faster than i did and also yoour an FF fan so you have to complete it(your honour as an FF fan is at risk here i admit the start is a bit annoying but aabout half way through disk to you should be into it and by disk three you and the game will be closer than an ass to a chair.)
If you dont like it, dont play it nor finish it. Why do you want to complete it so badly anyway?
Well I doubt whatever me or anyone can say would make you instantly like it but well...IMO the battles are really fun, the story and graphics really good.
Play it because then your life will be complete.

Play it because it has a longer ending than all of the other FFs.
Okay I started playing it again, and I figured out how to get of Balamb town so I could draw some magic. Then I finally beat Raijin and Fujin.
I'll probably play it all day tommorow.
Finish it because it's the best FF.
once you understand the system, you'll enjoy it.
I loved the story of mystism mixed with hi tech.
Ignore people who say the story is bad.This game has so many storyline secrets that up to today I didnīt found all of them.Every time I play i see new secrets.I spot things I hadnīt spotted before.And I bought in on November on the year it reaches the market.Isnīt sick of it and I think I never will.People here looks at the surface of things.They canīt(and donīt wanna to) see behind the scene.What is happening secretly.
Yeah i'd agree with that.Character devolpement may be lacking for certain characters but the story is excellent imo.
Each character has a secret story.In many cases these stories werenīt revealed totaly but one can look for clues in the game.People donīt like FF8 storyline because itīs of the secretive type.But FF7 has a great and CLEARLY SEEN storyline.
The Junction System promotes strategy even more than Materia did.
Squall is dead sexy.

good storyline, better graphics, better magic system and more involvement of magic, more involvement of kickass summons (GFs), fun side quests.
most importantly: the ragnarok! if only they had a spaceship as cool as that in the othe ff games!!

BTW, the summonings are cool, but you don't really need them if you draw enough magic and junction it properly. Draw all status inducing magic like berserk, confuse, sleep, etc, and elemental magic, and support magic like protect, shell and haste ASAP. This'll give you enough power to actually not have to summon your GFs.
Play it! It is a brilliant story full of action, drama, love..
The gameplay is excellent and the ending is a must see!

awesome symphony! you can download them to hear them, but listening to them throughout the game is much better.
