Mimics?

I've read somewhere that you can get max of 500,000 gil in mimics. is this true? coz i always get 100,000 with gillionare fighting a mimic.

i haven't explored the ruins but is it possible to fight 2-3 mimics in one battle?

no, i don't think so. they cannot be captured and there's only one Mimic that comes out of each treasure box.

i dislike mimics very much so, i didnt no they gave u so much Gil, that will b very usefull wen using my leveling up stratergy.

Mimics give only 50,000 gil and 100,000 with gillionaire. Also you can only fight 1 mimic per battle.

LC is correct. I'd just like to add there are 4 different kinds of Mimics, and the only resemblance they have to each other is they are a splattered treasure chest with a glowing orb in the middle.

Incidentilly, if you are eagle eyed you can see what fiend they're mimicing. One is a flyer mimicing the big birds (Garuda etc), one is a serpant mimic (Anacondaur etc), one is a dragon/drake & the last is a helm. There are 4 types altogether.

I never knew about Eagle Eye though - I never bothered to get it. Wait, how do you get it?

Eagle eye is not an item. He means you have to study their formation closely. I noticed it as well.

why doen't gillionaire work for me? i get rikku to steal a chest so that a mimic pops out then i start killin it, but i still get 50,000gil... and rikku has godhand.

And they can only give 100k gil at max.

But the give 0 extra exp. this I noticed.

the only place to encounter a mimic is omega ruins, and you will NEVER encounter more than one at a time. they will ALWAYS drop 50,000 gil each time, and with millionair is drops 100,000. hope it clears up things.

yeh som ppl have millionaire and some ppl haved gillionair thou so how can gilliionaire and millionare get u the sameamout of gill????

i never said it drops the same amount. i said it drops 50k, and with millionair it drops 100k. with gillionair, its either 150k, or 200k. i dont remember exactly.

i said it always drops 50k, but if you have millionair, it drops 100k. i didnt bother to mention gillionair because it didnt come to mind. getting gil is way too easy on this game anyways, so gillionair is a useless skill imo.
