I always thought boxers were the bigger problem in that area. Not to mention without the restraint the whole room might know you're happy. Though that "usually" can be controlled. I keep briefs on hand for moments when I want some uh... support? But honestly I can't remember the last time I wore them. Boxers or sometimes commando, espeically in my lounge pants. They're basically boxers with legs anyway. Oh well.

I wear tight-fitting boxers when in the army. That eliminates chaffing between one's legs, and also doesn't let precious equipment swing about.

When off-duty... regular briefs, mostly. Cannot defeat that wonderful bullocks-hugging sensation.
