I was inspired to make this thread by a thread that was recently closed (!The closed thread!), hopefully this one doesn't meet the same fate.
Ok, so... If you were a cids knight and had to close all the threads that have no topic or whatever else, what "witty comment" would you post when you close it?
the real challenge is to make a unique witty comment that somewhat fits into the "topic" of the thread you're closing.

I wouldn't even close the thread. As long as people are talking about stuff then I am fine. Just don't let it get to the spam-tastic point that Linus, Drex and I brought the original anniversary thread to. Just 1000% pointless spam with one letter posts and worse stuff.
If people are talking about stuff then there must be some topic that they are discussing even if it isn't stated in the first post.

I've been a Cid's Knight, so I know how hard it is to come up with something witty when closing a thread. Sometimes I'll go with something witty, sometimes I'll go *closes*, it really depends on the thread being closed.
If I were a Cid's Knight, I'd delete the internet. :cool:
