Seriously, Mod's should use this whenever they ban someone. So when they ban someone, they should give them this as a gesture of good "Mod" behaviour.

Or they could use the dirty panda smiley. :fpdirt:
Or the dirty Psy smiley
:banme
The site is too strict.......people get banned for stupid things now
As cool as that thing is, I don't think the staff are ever going to be cool enough to use it, or Chris' smilie. Heck, we're lucky if we get a witty comment nowadays.Quote:

That's news to me. :p
So do we get an example of these "stupid things" to which you are refering to?Quote:

Peter?
Bert, I think you of all people should be keeping out of this.
There was no one banned who didn't deserve to be banned.
That's a cute smilie, Chris. I might use it sometime. :)
I can think of at least three people who are banned but do not deserve to be, but nothing will change if I drag them back up again, so I choose not to name them. :fpdirt:Quote:

I should not :p but who are the other two?
Here's a hint: All three of them have posted in this thread.
Del Murder, Leeza and Behold the Void.
Me Psy and Neel!
I thought it was a little unfair when Triple T was banned. I just didnt see the point of it.
Maybe because he was a previously banned member?
Really? huh missed that one
He learned his lesson. Its just a videogame forum.
So what you're saying is that anyone who was banned before, but has "learned his or her lesson" should be able to come back?
If theyre not causing trouble then yes that is what Im saying and hed already shown and proven he wasnt doing any harm.Quote:

Let's ban him!
But that involves allowing banned members to register again and show that they've changed or whatever. And if we allow exceptions for one person, then we should allow it for everyone.
The same logic can be applied to why it is so important for a person to need to come back. It shouldn't be a big deal either way, so, since the forums have run pretty smoothly under the current system, that is the way it is going to be. People who break the rules will get banned, and everyone gets on with their lives, or e-lives if you'd rather.Quote:

Im not overly concerned. His second account shouldnt have been banned because it was unnnecessary. Especially if he admitted to spamming and breaking the rules.Quote:

It was necessary because a banned member is a banned member regardless of what name he decides to use. If he was allowed to stay, every other banned member would want to have the same privilege.
It makes me sad how nearly every topic in feedback ends up being about who should and should not be banned, and whether or not the rules are justified, yadda yadda.
:fpguilt: Saaaaad Panda.
He didnt deserve to be banned Leeza. He admitted to spamming ages ago and showed he had become just as good a member as me or you. Its unnecessary. I've seen things through your point of view. Give me a sign that you're returning the favour for him.Quote:

Give it up, Destai. You don't know what he did.
Its unfair. If you cant see anything besides what the rules say theres a problem with your system. Because the rules say so is a terrible excuse and it doesnt make it right.
I like Triple T, and if I had it my way he wouldn't have been banned. The problem is, I don't have it my way and he's not coming back, no matter how much we argue. So could we please just drop the subject and use the feedback forum as it should be used, for rampant spamming and oldbie jokes?
I think you'll find as you go through life that rules are put into place because it has been proven that they are needed. Such is the case here.
I agree with you BM121, which is why this thread is now closed. We are not going to rehash the same story again any more today.
