This thread is about weddings.

I have never been to a wedding, but in May I will be a maid of honor in my friend Erin's wedding. I am going to wear a blue dress.

Whenever I'm in the magazine aisle in the super market, I make a beeline for the Wedding magazines. I love weddings. :)

I like weddings. Free food, love in the air, all that crap. But if I get married I'd probably not want a huge wedding. I don't like being the focus of attention.

i absolutely adore my wife. I worship the very ground which she has sanctified by the imprint of her foot. I love being married. Having somebody always in your corner is a hugely supportive feeling.

and I absolutely detested getting married. Love being married. hated getting married. people staring at you for 6 hours straight. not fun. and I didn't even have it as bad as my gorgeous wife did.

Weddings lead to early funerals.

One time I offered to marry an asian girl just so she could get citizenship and then we did and then this guy asked me if I married her just so she could get citizenship and I said yes and then she pulled her mask off and she was a man and then they caught me and put me in a cage and next thing I knew I was in Japan and all these fat men in overalls were karate kicking me in the skull, spine and intestines and would feed me this weird tasting tissue until I escaped one day in a heroic act of luck by me and some other prisoners (who died) and then I swam home. True story.

I don't usually like going to them. Getting all dressed up, being formal, being around a bunch of weird people you never see anywhere else. If someone wants me to go I will out of respect but I don't consider if fun. I've been in five weddings.

I agree with DeBlayde though. I'm not looking forward to having 200 people's attention on me for several long hours... I just hope I get to pick out some good food.

I think making this thread a Beatles thread would have been a better option.

Anyway, weddings are completely unacceptable.

I wanna be the guy that reads the bible and says "you may now kiss the bride" and then when they are about to kiss I will put on a scary mask and give everyone heart attacks because they think it is the apocalypse. :cool:
