Paragon city: City of Heroes
New Mombasa: Halo 2
Tristram: Diablo
Midgar
All The Others Smell
Nocturn- Xenogears

Piata- Phantasy Star IV
Muse- Suikoden II

The City - Theif: Deadly Shadows
Zeal - Chrono Trigger
Ulmeyda City - Killer7
That'd be City 17, unless you mean Black Mesa, which really wasn't a city at all.Quote:

Midgar I guess.
That'd be just Windfall Island.Quote:

City of the ancients (think people come on, how good was this city).
Mac Anu : The Aqua capitol.
Gemity (Star Ocean 3)
City 17 (Half-Life 2)
Balmora (Morrowind)
Racoon City (Resident Evil 2)
I'm also looking forward to exploring Pripyat when S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is released :D
Ivalice (Final Fantasy Tactics)
Totus (Tales of Phatnasia)
Prontera (Ragnarok/ Online)
Morroc (Ragnarok Online)
Geffen (Ragnarok/ Online)
Yuno is at least a million times better, as are Einbroch and Lighthalzen.Quote:

Geffen's the city of magic. I've always played Mage/Wizard in RO, and that's why I like it there.
Though, both Prontera and Geffen make appearances in the manwha, and are likeable there, as well.
I'm more of a nostalgia guy, I guess.
Silent Hill, from Silent Hill. :strung:
Valadilene, from Syberia, I find quite beautiful.
Alexandria, from FF9.
Dagon Fel, from Morrowind.
Pelagiad, from Morrowind
There was one from Xenogears that you visit early on in the game, but the name of it slips me. The music was particularly enjoyable; maybe that's what I liked about it.
:D
Einbroch and Lighthalzen are the new cities, Einbroch is part of the Schwarzbald Empire, an area that has been expanded to the southwest of Yuno, it's a city of machines and smoke, and the dungeons are based around a mine.Quote:

They're in the new kRO, and also coming soon on iRO, I keep up to date with private servers mostly because I have a few friends whom I play GW with who still play RO a lot.
And I say Yuno 'cause that's the kRO name. I prefer it 'cause I always played a Sage/Professor, and that was "my city" really, so I guess I see where you're coming from with Geffen. Just, having Prontera as a main town on so many private servers made me very sick of it, I think I like New Payon more.
Lea Monde, from Vagrant Story, is architecturally nice. Pity about all the monsters and undead, though.
Midgar is the post-modern megatropolis, and is an artwork of socio-cultural commentary as much as a location. Don't get me started on the symbolic awesomeness of Midgar...
Minas Tirith, in The Third Age, is great - but that goes without saying. Trebuchets for life.
Meltokia - Tales of Symphonia
Mizuho - Tales of Symphonia
Sybak - Tales of Symphonia
Liberty City - GTA3
Deling City - FF8
Esthar - FF8
Timber - FF8
>>> Thames from Xenogears, that place must smell a lot but i think is awesome..
Nocturne (D block) from Xenogears, another surreal dirty place populated with tons of barely naked amazone soldiers..
Hailan from Valkyrie Profile, one of the most beutiful scenery i`ve seen..
Gregminster from Suikoden, There is something about this city..
Luca from FF10, More beautiful scenery.
Treno from FF9, it looks interesting and mysterious..
I wish I could live in Xanarkand....
Oh, and the Lost Village from Fatal Frame 2 rocks!!! But yeah, not to live in....however long you could stay alive in it, I mean....
Luca and Alexandria are the coolest. I'd live in any of them. Alexandria has that "medieval" setting about it, and Luca's a very active city...
God DAMN IT. I was going to say this before I read yours.Quote:

Just trying to subtly point out that City of Villains > City of Heroes.
