FFIX... just because.
Final Fantasy: Wrong Forum.
Yay for bad jokes.
Favorite is VI by the way.
Also, Suikoden > Final Fantasy in every way possible.
Oh i never rememberd all the V11111 thingy i liked..
FF9 and FF7 [FF8 was teh worst]
Best RPG? oot.
FFVIII!
FF VIII or FF X... I can't decide on which one is the best... :D
Final Fanyasy X-2. It has lots of action in it plus It has amazing graphics *goes off to play it*.
Ardwolf because the graphics are beyond anything you can imagine.

I really Like Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2. But my favorite FF game would have to be 7 at the moment. I haven't played all the way through 8 and 9 or 3-6 so my opinion is very limited. FF X-2 was really bad IMHO.
hmm.I use to think FF7 was the pwnage but then I played FF10 and FF11 and its a three-way tie.
FF3
FFVII or Alundra
FFIX. There's absolutely no way to reach the level of gameplay and fun this game has to offer.
first of let me start by saying my oppinion of ff-10 was that they hyped up graphics at the expense of gameplay. in that respect it was a pretty meh game, 8 was definatly not far behind it though
the best RPG ever was without a doubt Earthbound.
favorite FF game is a tie between FF5 and 6
Neverwinter Nights
FFVII for me.
Favorite FF: FFVI
Favorite RPG... I really like ToS
THE JACKEL
Threads of Fate and FFVIII
Best FF game: FFVII
Best RPG: Dungeons & Dragons
Best FF: FFVIII, duh.
Best RPG: Do action-RPGS count? Cause if they do, I'm going with Drakengard. If not, then FFVIII.
:D
Best RPG series is Phantasy Star. The storym the charatersm the settings, the RPG elements, EVERYTHING about it puts all others to shame. The only RPG that can come close to Phantasy Star's coolness is Suikoden III.
Bless you Sega.
A well made Dungeons and Dragons game trumps any video game.
Otherwise, Xenogears.
I'm definitely going to have to say, without doubt or hesitation,
EARTHBOUND!
Anyone who disagrees with me is a doo doo head! :)
Tales of Phantasia versus Star Ocean. WHO WILL WIN THIS EPIC BATTLE?
Why is this even open?
Final Fantasy VI is the best RPG EVAR! (note it's with an A, making it even better than EVER)
*closes* :p
Earthbound > all, even FFVI

I could never get into FF Tactics. My friend gave me his copy. By the time I got done wit h the first battle I just turned off my PS2 and didn't feel like playing it again.
FFVIII probably. But I need to beat FFX first to say that for sure.
Legend of Mana or FFVI. I can't decide.
This is simply not open to discussion, Earthbound or GTFO.
I couldn't agree more. :chef:Quote:

Pirates! By Sid Meir. That fellah do be capturing the Pirate Spirit spot on.
i will break it down to for you:
FFI-VI: never played, but horrible graphics, so it will not tempt me.
FFVII: badass game, one of best ever made.
FFVIII: plain ol' stupid imo.
FFIX: good game, but FFVII beats it by a bit.
FFX: great game, just wasnt as classic like other FF's. kind of "fake" in other words. still really liked the game nonetheless.
FFX-2: f'ing horrible game. bad story, bad characters, bad skill system. i couldnt stand it.
FFXI: not worth my time even trying...
FFXII: ???
Kingdom Hearts: ok, but way too easy. plus a bit childish now that i think back on it. had a good story, with a childish tone, which is why i dont play it anymore. the game doesnt even swear once...
Chrono Trigger: one of THE BEST rpg's EVER made. if you did not like this game, you have not truley played a good rpg.
Chrono Cross: another very awesome game, one of the best games i have played.
so now that i think about it, it goes in this order of my favorite one:
1.) FFVII
2.) Chrono Trigger
3.) Chrono Cross
4.) FFIX
5.) FFX
mozeltove.
That was uncalled for. Don't do it again if you want to stay here.
~Void
Seriously, I'd go for 8 bit any day.
Don't make me chose what my favorite RPG is. I'm going to say a tie between FFVII and Disgaea.
EDIT: I chose Disgaea over VII.
that's friggin hilarious, you say FFI-FFVI have horrible graphics then say Chrono Trigger is one the best ever made, dude, same graphic era as FFIV-FFVI. I agree CT is great, but play them before counting them outQuote:

i agree. to be perfectly honest older games were better because instead of spending all their time on graphics they spent it on a long lost part of the game called the story. games with low graphics had the best storys and gameplay which in turn made them much more fun.
*couDragonWarriorsgh**couDisgaeagh**couPhantomBravegh**couSecretofManagh*
Im going to go with Xenogears.
I like Final Fantasy VIII and Tales of Symphonia as my favorite RPGs.
Final Fantasy VII > all. Or suikoden :D. Guild Wars if it counts :D
FF7, favorite FF.
FF7, favorite rpg.
Of course, as DJZen so harmlessly pointed-out, Earthbound is an incredible rpg for those who can actually withstand it.
And then again, so is FF6, 8, 9, 10, CT......
EarthBound was terrible......
i never said they were bad, i just said that they have horrible graphics. i said CT was one of the best ever made, because it has one of the best stories and system i have ever played. if you look, i never said that the games were bad. i said i will not be tempted by them.Quote:

i thought so too, but my friend disagrees.Quote:

Seriously Aidan, you should at least play VI. I personally thought it was a bit better than Chrono Trigger. The others aren't quite as good, but they are still pretty good games. But FFVI is a must play.
Also a lot of people debate whether FFVI or CT has the better graphics.
CT uses a more colorful palette, while FFVI tends to be more a bit moodier. Overall quality, hard to say. CT is prettier, though.
FF: FFVI
RPG: Chrono Trigger

That and crazy hippies attacking you by insulting your mother, fighting puddles of puke, shooting bottle rockets at things, and of course, Saturn Valley, make Earthbound one of the best games ever made. REPRAZENT!!!
heehee I was so wrong....
I didn't like Earthbound.
Sure, it's a good game, I could just never get into it.
it was ment to be funny. thats what makes it so awsom. like in battle when your party just sits around and it tells you they're picking they're noses, it's hillarious. but for everyone who played super mario RPG legend of the seven stars you know it comes in a close second. (not nearly as funny though)
The 5 moles in Dusty Dunes Desert, enough said.
>>> Valkyrie Profile because its the only RPG I`ve re-played from beginning to end plus seraphic gate, more than 30 times and I never get bored of it..
All of those Earthbound screens pale in comparison of the best line from Lunar: SSSC:
"Kyle...you suck."
And the cross-dressing scene. Oh yes, that was good.
same.Quote:

Final Fantasy 10=Legend of Dragoon
Final Fantasy 10-2
Final Fantasy 7
Don't cop an attitude with me because you didn't clarify you reasons the first time. If you don't clarify yourself in the beginning then we have no way of understanding how you feel, regardless of what you say or how we read.Quote:

That is a misconception. I'm 15, and FFVI happens to be one of my favorites. I've only been playing Final Fantasy for about 4 years now.Quote:

And, fine, you are a member of a younger generation.
You do have a very poor grasp of English, don't you?
You are a younger generation, it blankets, it covers you and everyone else of your generation, you are a member of that generation, you are an example of your generation, you ARE that younger generation.
Just because you're a pedantic little kid with a penchant for semantics, doesn't mean you're correct.

Secondly, not "bitching", I'm correcting your mistakes.
Thirdly, I'm not stereotyping you in a younger generation, stereotypes never featured anywhere, you're fifteen so you're a younger generation, as well as the fact that you admitted you didn't want to play games with bad graphics.
And finally there's the whole you saying I have to have "the last word", yet you're posting after me when I was done with it all. Oh wait, now I'm having the last word, WHOOPS, 'cept you're gonna reply after this, of course.
Just wanted to point out those small facts for you, and now I'm just going to leave it, because you've already dug yourself a grave for at least twenty people.
XENOSAGA EPISODE 1 WAS PRETTY GOOD.
:D
We never got that in Europe, I hate you >=(
I got to my local game shop and see the NTSC-U/C version and gaze longingly at what could be, then I just go home and play Xenogears on my chipped PSX.
hahaha. just shows how childish you are man... stop bitching and drop it. having the last word is bad for you. it might be crucial to your health. ive heard you can get sick off of having too much attention. drop it or you will truley keep proving how much of a child you really have inside you.Quote:

The only thing I didn't like about Xenogears was that the second disk was mostly a movie. If there had been more user involvement during the story of the second disk I would have liked it more. But aside from that it's still a stellar game.
