Salt=disgusting
pepper=godly
both are good
To me it depends on what I'm eating.
Eggs: Salt:Only in Omlets
Pepper: Stuffed only.
Salt definitly makes a lot of foods taste better. I will eat tomatoes with salt on them, avocados too... though avocados are good with or without salt.
I'm not a big fan of pepper though, I normally can't really taste the pepper when I use it.
Salt and pepper are definitly good things. Though I don't use them too much, if something needs a kick of flavor, salt does the trick.

Many dishes are greatly enhanced by a little salt, but too much can ruin just about anything. I only like pepper on a few foods, like corn and...well, that's all I can think of at the moment. :p
I rarely use either. Salt when I am boiling potatoes, then salt and pepper in my scrabbled eggs besides that I do not use them. Ketchup is the way to go.
Lets see you keep your cells from exploding without any salt in your body then. Or how your neurones fire without any salt to maintain the electrical discharges.Quote:

I like salt and pepper. but the best salt and pepper is from Drogheria & Alimentari. the salt is Mediterranean Salt and the Pepper is 4 seasons Pepper Corns(meaning 4 different types of pepper corn) and is really good, and you get to grind them yourself(dont worry, it comes in a grinder).
TSoL said it. Ketchup 4tw.
Yeah, ketchup wins. But only Heinz-ish ketchups with lots of sugar and stuff in it. No tomato-ish natural ketchup like the kind in France, that's gross.
Salt N' Pepa!
I like that Push It song myself.
Ketchup is disgusting.

BTW how can people put salt on their fries? What is scary is when people add more salt to McDonald fries, because those are salty enough without adding more.
Blasphemy!!!!!Quote:

But to answer the question at hand, a little salt is always good, while pepper I just don't get. It can sod off and die for all I care. =D
:D
the way i see it pepper adds to flavor and salt is kinda used on stuff with no flavor just so u taste nothing but the salt but not as strong as if it were alone
also people that say ketchup, that has a lot of salt in it
ketchup just ruins the taste of the food you put it on.
salt and pepper are so good, i eat them by themselves and start off my god worshipping day to the sun god allah, praise it salt and pepper tomorrow for yesterdays prayers.
It's not essential in my Japanese food, but pepper is handy-dandy for crowded trains!
and oversized cereal bowls.
I like cheese.
Oh and pepper is also good.
Salt, makes me cringe. Its just kinda wierd.
Ketchup, is only exceptable with french fries.
had to drink salt water for my cold sore :{
if nothin else it wakes you up h-core, what a shock with every sip
Isnt' drinking brine bad? I remember once having to gargle it when I had a sore throat...man is that nasty stuff.
I love salt. And I'm going to die early because of it.
amen.Quote:

Hell no! Pepper is the greatest! I always put heaps of pepper on my food (icecream included! heh). If while im eating my food my nose dosnt run and my eyes dont water...........well theres not enuff pepper on it. As for salt......too much of that stuff and it ruins food, yes. But its still crucial to foods such as french fries and eggs (oh and icecream! heh again!) :D
I like them both. A pepper grinder is the only way to do pepper justice, though. Red pepper is superior to all of it, though.
I like pepper and salt. I put them on whatever they can be put on.
