Does anyone here like Green Day?
hopefully not.
Trust me, it's been made before. :p
green day sucked when I was in high school and they still suck now.
Their latest album has been overplayed, but I've got nothing against Green Day. I'm hardly a fan, but I listen to International Superhits every once in a while, and I'd go to see them live if I ever got the chance.
Good Riddance is the only song I really like by them. The new stuff is nausiating.
I was obsessed with them in Jr High, something I'm not exactly proud of now. I dont think their music is horrible, but I certainly dont like them.
Man, they've been around forever.
I respect them more than, say "Good Charlotte", but I still don't like them.
I like Time of Your Life and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Haven't heard anything else by them I liked the sound of at all.
Ehhh, I don't really like all of their songs. Some of them are pretty good, but they aren't a band that I'd put on my A-list.

Thanks, Bel Murber.
American Idiot is overplayed, but they're still alright. I prefer their older stuff.
Damn...talk about having a shot to someone's pride...
I don't see how this relates to your pride.
Are YOU the secret member of Green Day Mr. Paladin?!
No.
On a related note, I heard they were making American Idiot into a movie, which forced me to choke a lamppost in frustration.
I mostly agree with this. I like there older stuff but, I absolutly cannot stand their new CD. HORIBLE!Quote:

I like them, though. A lot.
I thought I liked them until I bought American Idiot, and relised most of the songs they didn't release as singles were very weak.
Green Day were great back when their songs were about drugs, masturbation and catchy bass fills. This new political alternative rock/emo band they've become is awful.
They performed it as a rock opera.Quote:

"Does anyone here like Green Day?" he says, not knowing - then again, not many do - that 'Good Riddance' is actually EoFF's song.
Maybe yours, but not MY EoFF.
Cid's, actually.
Semantics.
Maybe if the lead singer's voice wasn't so obnoxious, I could seriously sit down and listen to them, but blegh. I've never liked what I heard before, with the exception of one song. They can stop making music now.
:D
Aaaah greenday *dies*
I really dont like them, Billy Joe's voice does nothing for me, in fact, it annoys me. He drones on and on and on..
Plus, my brother loves them, so whenever i hear the songs i have him singing along which makes me hate it even more

Their older stuff is bearable, but I don't really like listening to any of it.
