That's it on my Overrated list, basically. I don't understand the hype. Watched thru the whole thing twice, and almost cut my eyes out :P

Yakitate Japan is really underrated, but that's probaly cuz not much ppl know about it.

And Overrated is the Dragon Ball series.

I haven't watched enough anime to find out more.

Yu Yu Hakusho is most definitely underrated.

Yeah, Yu Yu Hakusho is good. It's the only anime that I like that's not overraved. The ones I like are DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, and sometimes Zatch Bell. At least, I think Tenchi Muyo is. I miss it.

Overated:
Naruto (Still love it though :P)

Trigun
Hellsing

I really don't understand why Naruto keeps going strong, while Trigun and Hellsing died out pretty early. Oh well, such is the life of anime.

Eh, I got lost in the last episodes of Hellsing. It just kind of went on a whole different tangent and left me wondering what the crap just happened.

Maybe I should go back and watch it again.

Overrated I'd say is Sailor Moon and DBZ. And as much as it wounds my heart to say it, Evangelion is quite overrated as well. Forgive me Eva! I still love you!

Anyways, a few underrated are Spiral, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, and just about all the other good anime that hasn't been licensed.

I like DBZ better. The new DBZ is owned by Yu Yu, but the older Freeza -Cell era is so much better.

I liked old DBZ, too, up until the Majin Buu saga. I still like Yu Yu better, though.

Darth Holm, I DEMAND you give your reasons for calling FLCL overrated, as most reviews give it upper-middle ratings (7/10ish), when anything under 10/10 is underrating it.

OVERRATED:

Naruto - it sucks
Inuyasha - Decent, but fairly "meh"
Neon Gensis Evangelion - People calling it the "Greatest Anime Ever" make me want to crap my pants, vomit and splew blood from my eyes at the same time.

UNDERRATED:

Excel Saga - Why have so many people not heard of this? Almost every comedy anime you see these days owns a huge debt to Excel Saga

Voices of a Distant Star - Calling this anything less than pure genius is severly underrating it.

im watching gunXsword, it's pretty underrated right now because its only on ep 4, but it's cool if you are a nerd which i am
it takes every cliche from every anime/movie ever and tries to mix it all tohgether, it's interesting

these people win at life.

Overrated ones are Naruto, Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, and Cowboy Bebop. For me Evangelion is pretty good, does it live up to its hype? Nope...but i still say its pretty damn good.

I am unsure of this but Bleach might be the overrated one at the moment.

I loved Genshiken man that anime ruled especially the cosplay episode.

One question? The chick with the black hair on genshiken most likely lived in a southern state if she had compliments of her long hair.

Thats hardly highly rated in the first place. Its just praised for great music, characters, animation and storyline but the storyline is very very slow.

What's so overrated about Naruto? Besides the filler sagas, it's a good anime. The important fighting sequences are amazingly animated as well.

I don't get it. Even DBZ wasn't as well animated.

Ham=Ham (Aka Hamtaro) can be eaiser overated or underated depending wetheter you watch the japanese/English (Good) Or the American (poor)

Dirty Pair goes on the underrated list, dispite have an awkward title it's terrific. And Kei is such a babe.

naruto, Naruto, NARUTO!!! (If I turn on CN and hear "believe it" again i will puke)
Dragon Ball Z (does anyone ever really die in that anime? Not a fan of death, but if their dead their dead!)
