I got beat up, if I remember right.
On my first day I saw a poster with penguins on it and that was (obviously) the highlight of my day, possibly of my life.
I never had a problem finding classes... I loved highschool.
my older brother told me that people like to steal cheese and salad cream sandwiches (which i had) so i was really scared xDDDDD
it sucked really
Erm.. i cant remember.. and it was only 2 years ago x.X;
There is nothing as amusing as a confused freshmen.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened on my first day of High School. The school I went to was over crowded though, and only half of my teachers were permanent (most were substitutes because the real teachers hadn't been approved yet). The buildings were marked, so I had no trouble finding my classrooms. I loved my first day of High School actually, they had soda machines and snack machines (which had Pizza Combos in 'em!) .
my first day was 9 years ago..... ;___;Quote:

High school is my element.
The blow was softened due to the fact that we had had summer band practice for a whole two weeks beforehand, and I had been in the senior high band the year before also.
if resha was american, she'd be a sophomore xD Because then she would've started school when she was six in 1995 and taken the classes accordingly xD
I don't remember, meaning it was most likely uneventful. Probably a good thing.
im a senior now, and its a hell of a lot better than junior high, but nothing beats elementary.
school is in general, so it dosent really matter what happens.....
Senior year....whoop di doo
but this year's pretty cool, school from 7:20am to 11:20am
work from 1pm to 5-6ish pm
friends in my classes
yeap, STABILITY describes my days back in school
Only thing I remember about it was this one guy sneezed into his hands and wiped it on me as I walked by.
Nobody so much as looked at me after that. Mostly because I've had more than one person say I freaked them out because I looked the kind of person who'd blow up the school.
ITs my senior year. For the next four years of oyur life. You will deal with
1.Sadistic teachers
2.sadistic security guards
3.sadistic kids
4.preps
5. the complete and utter destruction of individuality.
WEll goodluck and have fun. :D
I remember what I wore, but I don't remember what happened. I have no idea why this is, as I don't really care about clothes. Whatever.
Every school seems big when you first start going to it. You get used to it pretty fast.
I was excited that high school would not suck like middle school had. it was better, but it still sucked, I guess. I don't remember anything about it, except that I went to classes.
Well to tell you the truth. My middle school years were worse. Fight after fight. Peopel calling me fag and stuff. Then in high school. The poeple who called me gay and turned out to be gay themselves.
Oh I remember high school. I started out as a bully and then I reformed and became a quite kid who 'over achieved like a bandit' who then went on to have shouting matches with teachers and generally reject authority. Damn it was awesome being a teenager in high school. Push everyones limits and do not regret a thing, you're only a kid so you can't be blamed for anything. However when you enter the REAL WORLD!!11 things will be different.
But my high school (as a building) sucked big time. A school for 600 pupils with over 1200. Though in my final year we did get a common room which was huge and totally awesome and sweet. I ended up not going to class so I could just sit in there and listen to music, play games and cook random in the microwave.
Yeah, I had more bully/people picking on me problems in Junior High than High School. In HS, everyone mostly divides into their own cliques (moreso than before), and people that go around starting crap just look like jerks to everyone else.
I just started high school. It's so... easy. My english teacher is a bitch though because she won't answer any of my questions without an angry tone in her voice :mad2:
Well high school is pretty awesome your freshman year, but if you are like me you'll be quick to befriend many juniors and seniors. As for me my junior year starts in two days, and not half of my frinds are all in college. Luckily I have plenty of people to hang out with because of work though. Then again as you Freshies reading this can eventually find out, highschool is as fun as you make it. As for me I took a major liking to band and speech team. As well as things like chess club, plays, and scholastic bowl. Because of this Im still having a blast. (Heck it even got me an awesome girlfriend of one year next month)
She is trying to seduce you, just go with it and get the extra marks.Quote:

yeah texans are nice unless your an OU fan.
Some people got caught smoking pot in the boys bathroom, and I go to a catholic school.
That was fun
LOL. Bet they fed them to the nuns!
Actually, a couple years before my time, some kids went on the internet and started printed copies of porn and directed it to the school nun's office printer. THAT was funny
highschool is what you make it
OMG that is awesome, Nuns who are hooked on porn. As for my pranks I used to take my spanish teachers car keys and hide them (one time when I tried putting them under his desk some eye liner rolled out yikes!) Whats the name of your school hawkeye?
I rather not say, for security reasons. Some perverts out there, like kikimm or psychotic who would love to know where I live :shifty:
Yeah I kinda thought about that after sending my last message
I found both of my good friends from 8th grade, Brad and Josh...we all looked and acted different somehow...like the summer had changed us...and then we broke the Frutopia machine when it ripped Josh off, got a bunch of free change and bought Dr Pepper instead...explained it to school security, and got away with it, then me and Josh talked about how FFVIII was about to come out the next day, and how we couldn't wait and it looked like it was gonna kick FFVII's ass, while Brad just starred in cluelessness of what Final Fantasy was, and we realized we hadn't changed all that much after all...it was a pretty fun day.
That was about six years ago...how depressing. =(
dude thats college.Quote:

I actually found Middle quite enjoyable, especially 8th. That was my best year of school since 6th grade. So many laughs, so many funny teachers, so many people to make fun of.
From what ive seen so far its just people swearing, and yelling, and handing tickets out for garage band Metal concerts. Really annoying really.
Quit reminding me of the good old days...it's depressing. :(Quote:

Maybe instead of being and outcast and making fun of the popular people, you should just make an attempt to be nice to them and not think they are all selfish. Chances are, you're just as stupid as they are anyways.
It doesn't?
oops, sorry, was I being logical...
I mean
ZOMG DID U C THAT PREP SLUT HO BAG IN THE HALLS WITH HER GUCCI BAG! STUPID RICH PPLE BLAH BLAH BLAH! I'M STUPID.
I personally think the whole "high school is the greatest part of your life" is blown out of proportion.
I start to feel pressured to do a lot of stuff because of that, and it's dumb. It's not like life ends after high school. I think a lot of people who get caught up in that are the ones that never grow out of their high school maturity level.
i think college is the best time i've had in life... and I think once i'm out of college, life will be even better.
lol i go to a predominately black high school. Its underground rappers trying to sell their ablums XD...Quote:

High school is a breaze, I warn you now...ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS!
University is fun though tough
Highschool is enjoyable. Though I don't remember anything spectacular happening in my first day. Senior year was the fondest for me however.
My first day of highschool was way back three years ago in year 7 - I remember! It was a good day - I was sort a 'new' kid - I'd been to the school before, left, then came back. So half the people new me already. But the ones who didn't know me asked me heaps of questions and stuff. I enjoyed the day - it was good to get back among old friends.
>>> Not just the first day, the whole high school thing sucked..
oh yeah, and college sucks even more.
I didn't get lost or anything because my high school is small...plus it's just impossible to be "lost" but I guess it can happen if you're nervous enough.
The only thing I remember about my first day was being excited that there was always a line to get pizza...everyday! (that got old soon enough though) and the teachers giving us all of our books on the same day and my backpack was so heavy, I literally had to drag it to my last class or 2. :-/
But overall...my freshman year sucked...for various reasons.
My first day of high school was much like the rest of my high school days, but with more confusion.
I enjoyed high school a lot, but I can't say I miss it.
I can't even remember. O_O!
Its my last year and I can't wait to leave and go to college. :rolleyes2
twas boring
amen to that my friend same here!!Quote:

Where is my "It was the shizzle" option.
I didn't know anyone, and I walked around mindlessly at lunch.
I was all alone ;___;
It was better than most days of middle school. The most hideous thing about it was being there after an awesome summer of fun.
lets get this straight.Quote:

dude, im constantly running back and forth! fisrt homeroom for the first week (today was our first day back), then i had to run downstairs and through to the end of another building for rotc, then i have to run to the middle of shannon (the 1st building) for adv eng, then go nextdoor (not too hard) for keyboarding, then run back over to hawke again for algebra 2, then over to the middle of shannon again for adv biology, then back over to hawke for lunch, then back upstairs in shannon for adv american hist, then back to hawke for french 1. whew! like that wasnt exhausting enough! then i got band practice at 4! argh!
sounds easy enough
yeah, but we only have 5 minutes and the stupid morons like to crowd the hallways to stop and kiss and huggles their bugga-boos in the middle of intersections of doorways and stairs. plus we have a lot of consrtuction going on w/ building our new schools. thats always fun! yay!
then all we gots today was papers, rules, books, etc. stupid! then i find out that im only an ncoic!!!! and im not going to be an officer!!!! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (it made me upset to say the least)
That's rediculous and false...what's next...saying you don't love fried chicken and watermelon with a tall glass of Kool Aid?Quote:

My high school has around 1200 students, and we're the most populous town in the county.Quote:

High school was a non-stop rollercoaster of popularity contests, emotional teenagers, and poor education.
Yeah 3700 kids, I live in the desert and the other Highschool in my area is run-down and 105 years old.
it wasn't so bad...even though i don't remember the details of it...it was 6 years ago...but it was average...not to exciting...very boring
I would say my highschool is around a population of 1,100 kids.Wouldnt that be considered somewhat small (not that I can complain about that)?
3100 in my school
we're over populated by 500
every classroom is practically shared
sux, and our campus is the smallest in america to house so many students
Umm... I had 3 first days at high school. I transferred alot over the year ahaha.
But overall, I really don't remember anything other than just being bored. I usually found my classes on my 1st day because I was so nervous. On my second and third day, I'd get lost.
we have 409 kids in school. Couple of years ago it was about an even 300. We've grown a little bit X.x;;;
the entire district only has about 1400 I think.
