They shouldn't be, the mans a fool.
Not in the very least. Unless you were being sarcastic in which I'll return with a sarcastic one myself. YEAH BUSH RULES WHAT THE HELL 45% OF AMRIKA R TERRARISTS!
would this be the first disaster that was seen a president's popularity drop?
The President's rating were on the decline in the first place even before Katrina was formed. Bush had the chance to use the disaster to pick up his ratings a bit if he had acted earlier, but he blew it, and his ratings are continuing to fall.
he had 45% to lose?! I find that more amazing.
wow, 45% is a real big deal. one would expect that aproval ratings for a such simple-minded president would drop somewhere along 20-25% after all the "bush is the mesiah" propaganda. i certainly am surprised.
sorry has bush's populairy decline to 45% or by 455? becase the last time i checked it was at 45% anyway and a 45% drop would make it 30%.
I'm not TOO surprised.....not surprised at all,actually.
It fell to 45%.

Thought so, as "declined by a further 45%" means he must be Satan or something.Quote:

I really can't believe this idiot is still in office. But yes, I am surprised his ratings are so low - I had figured that the Christian Right had such a chokehold on America that we would never be able to get rid of him.

OH MAN! Those numbers are out of whack.
New numbers are 39% approve of Bush
65% disagree with the direction this country is headed
and yet he's still going to be President for the next 3.5 years unless he dies or does something so ridiculously illegal that even the nutcases in the House will impeach him.
lol man finally America has waked up from their dreams of propesrity in the 90s. thye have waked up to manipulative politicians such as Bush.Quote:

The hell of it is I'm sure people could find plenty of impeach-worthy stuff if they'd just look.Quote:

I'm pretty sure there are people who are looking constantly.
I'm not too sure about that. I've been extremely dissappointed with how people have been handling much of Bush's actions in the media and otherwise, so I really can't say how much is going on that we don't know about, given how little coverage things that are pretty much undeniable are given.
Yeah, those people in the Mid West too, while we're BLAMING someone. :pQuote:

As long as the money is in the hands of the rich I'm happy. (SPOILER)<-- This is called a joke.
That isn't a bad way of thinking for now. Everyone else seems to be thinking for themselves nowadays.
i'm counting down the days to the 2008 election so we can kick this guy out and hopefully have a better election roster than we had this past time around.
Jaysus H. Baldheaded Christ in a sidecar people, you jump on me for generalizing when I was defending myself against being generalized. I'm from the South, and I didn't vote for Bush. You still gonna hold it against me?
YES!
EDIT: I MEAN! Sucks to be in the south.
*posts his smurf the south picture*
*but not really*
Just for the record my comment was half-serious. I wasn't trying to generalize anyone from this forum. I was just pointing out the irony that so many people who have supported bush (in any part of the US, in fact) are now turning their backs on him--and for good reason.Quote:

Yeah right now Bush can basicly walk around naked and people will hate it but hey its his fifth term. They can't do anything lol XD.
You all know I'm a supporter of Bush but I will say that its extremely disappointing to see the slow reaction in the aftermath. Its especially frustrating when its near and dear to you, and you don't know what's happening with your family and friends.
