It's always fun to name Griever something really stupid that cracks you up.
You see, you most likely end up forgetting it and when you fight Ultimecia (or should i say CID???? OMGTEHLOLZ) you piddle yourslef laughing.
Well, not quite, but you know.
I called mine Puppa Tizz. And the tears did flow
I named it "Griever". o___________o
I used the search button just now and found about 5 exclusive although hilarious 'change name' threads.
Where things like Griever were changed to 'my bunns' and gave results like the exclamation from Ultimecia 'Oh my bunns!' when she calls her mighty GF etc...

I think I tried naming mine Sephiroth, except I didn't know how to spell it and butchered it to something like Seripoht.
i wanna name it marijuana. or pothead. or crackhead. or imalesbian.
or Moogle Pie. cept then, i wouldn't want to destroy it. i'd want to eat it.
I named it Kitty.

I myself don't change the names, but I just can't stop laughing every time I fight Griever

I don't think I ever named Griever anything all that interesting.
But I used to have a lot of fun with Shiva, because in the Fire Cavern, after you summon Shiva on Ifrit, He exclaims "They have [Shiva]!"
And sometimes at the end as he dies he says "I've underestimated the power of [Shiva]."
So if you call Shiva something like my ass, well...
I named him Kefa for old times sake.
