You mean the screen I posted? Here's the address!

Just a stab in the dark, but I think he means he can't find that screen in the program...
Dude: Open ePSXe. Click Config on the menubar. Click Video. Click the "Configure" button. Voila o/
 THAT, and the fact that he was using a totally different emulator to begin with. You just can't get the staff
I told him to download it didn't I? Anyway, download the ePSXe 1.5.2 and then P.M. me! Be sure to do so! *I mean Ester by the way!*Quote:

Hmm, on the topic of emulators, when I play this on my emulator, or any other FF for that matter, I can't see the command box in battles... any ideas?
Oh! I use the PSXeven emulator... :/

Thanks for the help! I already have ePSXe. And I got that to work even LESS than the emulator I'm using now.Quote:

Final Fantasy IX works a LOT better on the ePSXe 1.5.2 if you wanna' avoid crashes! And by the way, you can't download BIOs!!! I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's illegal! Say that at the ePSXe forums and you'll be in trouble!Quote:

Downloading it is absolutely illegal! The only legal way to use an ePSXe is to dump it straight from you Playstation! It's the big spider thingy in the Playstation! You have to sort of plug it into your CPU!
I m afraid nobody is dumb to do that these days, they will try and do whatever way to play games with their emulator the easy way.
How, exactly, do you install the PSX BIOS on your PC without an emulator? I don't think that's possible, and FF9/PSX are currently abandonware (the software no longer earns the comapny money).
There's something at Google that teaches you to dump it into your PC I think! But if you wanna' download the BIOs, get SCPH7502! By the way, Final Fantasy IX works the BEST on ePSXe 1.5.2 with my configs'! You'll get past crashes that people who use ePSXe 1.6.0 encounter!
When I used 1.5.2, I couldn't pass from disk 1 to disk 2, and the only way to solve the problem was to upgrade the emulator.
But after seeing how my friend's PC, which is much better than mine, won't play FF IX no matter which configuration or plugins or patches I try I started thinking it's just a matter of luck.
You couldn't get from Disk 1 to Disk 2? Try saving the game at the end and loading on Disk 2! The emulator sort of freezes when you change disks right? You can wait for it to load, but I prefer to do the saving thing!
I have an emulator problem: Zidane doesn't have a sprite on the world map. It's like there's a picture of the world map, and in the middle is a piece cut out in the shape of Zidane's body o_o
I suggest you get a better graphic CARD!!
?
Everything else looks fine, it's the only problem I've encountered really.
Try using the gonfigurations I posted at the top or get a better video plugin! Are you using soft ones? If you are, don't! I prefer Pete's plugins!
I'm using the exact same plugin and configuration you mentioned in the topic.
Did you you this plugin: http://emulator-zone.com/download.ph...gpupete176.zip ? Or else try Delta! Here's the latest: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/attachme...chmentid=88184
Or, of you haven't been using them, try them. They're the only ones that work fine for me.Quote:

buy a PS2/FFIX
Voila !
Tch. If there's a white outline there's obviously a problem involving the texture mapping onto a sprite. Either your PC can't translate that particular texture map from PS1 format to CPU-readable or there are a few scratches on your disk.Quote:

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (which is more than likely) as I'm no 3D expert - just judging by what I know really!
