All Your Base Rhapsody
How are you gentlemen
all your muffins are belong to us!!! :choc:
Just let it die... even the 'all your base' parodies are annoying now.
AYB Rhapsody is brilliant.
For great justice.

all your rhapsody took too long i didnt watch past the first line :choc:
What you say !! But eh, the thing is, people keep on discovering AYB so it's hilariously new and funny to them. They don't realise the damned thing is what...5 years old now? Take off every 'ZeZipster'.Quote:

I might not be able to still appreciate them as I once did. But they are both wonderful none-the-less. Just like the dreaded Numa Numa dance. Once the annoyingness of a fad dies, they are archived in our heart :D
God, please no. No more.
Wut u say
Crash was eight years old when this fad was relevant.
. Did you just get private information on me?? Im only 12. So I probably was only 2-3. When I was 8 it was the PS era. And for the record, I may have not been completely born when this fad was formed but I've seen many flashes on NG before I came here...
The AYB phenomenon started in '01, so it would've been when you were only eight.
I remember first seeing it and not getting it. Mostly because I was on dial-up and had my speakers off, so it only loaded halfway and had no accompanying sound to it, so it just looked random and dumb.
But the game was for the SNES. Or was it that the game was made but one person made fun of it and now everybody's doing it??
The game came out years upon years prior to the AYB thing started, which is why it got so popular, because so few people knew of the game's exsistance.
Ah. Thank you for the clearification, DMKA...
It was Zero Wing for the Genesis.
Man flash movies were so popular in the early 90s.
I use it as irony, and often if I don't know what somebody just said I counter with "What you say?"
For some bizarre reason, I still find it profoundly hilarious. But then, I only became aware of it during the last two years. I particularly like all the 'real-world' ocurrences of it, like banners and fliers, and the occasional TV reference.

This lets you download the Genesis (it says 'Megadrive') and Arcade version. You'll need the right emulators, but you can get them there too.
This is different from the original AYB how?Quote:
