thoughts.....
I hate when someone dies, I just get sad even with out knowing :(
dont fell sad, just think that his going to a very good place.. better place, :(
lifes just not funny without him, he was the source of British humor........
i'm sorry, I dont know what to say to you... just think his memorys will be always in the hearts of the people, and he will live in them. :(
'Tis a sad day indeed, right up there with the day Richard Whitely went.
'Tis a sad day for Britain.
(mayby this is a to layt) sad for this guy  :( :mad2:   :( :(
Who?
I don't know who that is.
He was a great comedian indeed.
After reading this, I think I'd be sadder if I'd seen his show or something.
PS: Yes i know who he is
Ronnie was someone whom the middle generation grew up with (my father, people in their late 40s now), and for many defined the conventions of comedy. With his passing it's almost like the old-school went with him. The likes of the Two Ronnies, Porridge and Open All Hours have been firmly replaced by Friends, Coupling and Sex And The City. It's almost the end of innocence in a way. There's a definite feeling of change with his death, or perhaps realisation of change that has occured irregardless. This is merely the full stop.
We'll miss you Ron.
Ronny Barker is a comedy god, i will really miss him :choc:
And it's goodnight from me... :(
Indeed, Richard Whitely's death was also very sad.....Quote:

Ooh, we could set a memorial for him with a twenty foot statue!
I shall compose a poem on the spot!
Sqaunder not the short life we have,
For when it be gone, naught is left.
'Tis a sad day when a man dies,
With no one left who knows his name.
that didn't happen to him. (I know it doesn't rhyme, I'm not good enough to do that on the spot.)
