You'd only be pissed if you knew how good of a original FF game it was. Otherwise it would've just been another spin-off.

FFIX is one of the best FFs and if it were a side game then it wouldn't get much attention.

IX was just as good as the others, better in my opinion

I was crazy about Final Fantasy IX at first 'cause it's so damn cool, but then I played Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX became second best! But I guess everybody has their own opinion!
If it had been a side quest, we would have lost one of the most beautiful Final Fantasy games. I like more 7's characters, but IX had a better playthrough in my opinion. Not to speak about the graphics and FMV's.
Hell yeah. I'm pissed that gamespor gave FFVII and FFVIII's graphics a 10, but FFIX a 9...

Rubedo: FFIX, along with VI, VIII, and to a lesser extent, VII is part of my favorite Final Fantasy games.

Many care about their games, People see their games differently than others. IX was my favourite, just the mention of it as a "side game" annoys me!
