He's okay. He's a good white mage but I'd have rather gotten an overpowered black mage at that point in the game.

hes pretty cool. i wish he survied. at least you get to play as him in soul of rebirth and he doesnt dies again breaking the ultima seal but theres a crazy hard boss gaurding it which always kills me.

Ultima Weapon isn't so bad, just save right before you fight him and feel out his weaknesses. Pay attention to the attacks he uses as well and figure out how to make them less effective. Here's a hint, blink and shell are your best friends, use them a lot.

Richard is better, because he's a Dragoon, and everyone knows Dragoons are the second best class in all of FF.

MingWu is okay I suppose, I have not gotten very far (playing NES and beat GBA version) and have him right now, I rarely use any of his spells, so he's not very useful for me.

As for the GBA version, he's pretty good.

To clarify, Neo Demiforce translated the name as "Minh." RPGOne used "Ming-Wu." When reference was made to the character in FFT and FFIX, "Minu" was used. The name changed to "Mindu" in the FF Origins compilation, and "Minwu" in Dawn of Souls.

Minwu is not only the best character in FFII, he is also the best white mage ever in an FF. Of course, last time I played he wasn't a white mage. I made him an over-powered black mage with a sword. Beat that.
