I love to read. It's one of my favourite thing to do. :) I wish people would read more. My favourite books are Zazoo, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Harry Potter series, Pop Princess, Ella Enchanted and the Princess Diaries series.
Why Read When Theres Tv
I luv Homer.....
no
I don't read threads, I just guess an answer
Yeah I like to read. Reading is great
reading is fun, although sometimes reading just feels like a surrogate for doing.
Reading can be extremely fun, or extremely boring.
It's usually the latter for me.
eh... I guess reading is okay, as long as you're not forced to read out of some social studies book or god knows what other books the school will shove at you...
I like to read books if i pick them out! XD
Reading is fun! Unless the book tries to eat you.
I enjoy a good book now and then. Its good for my poor vocabulary.
I like to read, but I am very picky, so it needs to be good to keep my attention or I won't read...Also when it becomes compulsory I tend to avoid doing it....
Its pretty much my favorite thing to do.

I hate reading, it makes me eyes hurt *sobs*
Reading, I like to, yes.
I find that books seem tiresome these days. The internet must be making me adhd or something xD
well, I can't concentrate on long paragraphs reading from a monitor either.
I love love love reading. Definitley one of my favorite hobbies. None of my friends do though, which sucks. Eh. :)
i love to read but i only read certain book. for example i have read all of terry pratchetts books about 5 times (not the 2 newest one ;___; been too poor)
but i should read text books more for uni ;____: i'm falling behind AGAIN
You haven't read until you've experienced Dostoevsky.
...i like to read short books and i always visit the nearest library (also the largest) in my state to check them out. i hate big, thick books. subjects i like: supernatural, children's books (the good ol' days), fairy tales/adventure, folklore, etc. i've finished few novels, and i never would've read them if they weren't part of class requirements...
How else would I have found out about The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe?
Me too :(Quote:

Anyone here who is really into FF would definately like David Eddings' The Belgariad and the The Mallorean series. The Belgariad starts with Pawn of Prophecy. They're very good. David Gemmell is also very good, as is Hugh Cook.
If you fancy a good laugh, read some Terry Pratchet from the Discworld series like Mort or Pyramids.
:D
I really enjoy it if I can find a good book but most of them are very boring for me. Also I like to feel Im improving myself through everything I do so when I pick a book its usually a book on teaching something (Astrology is the most recent uptake) and those sortve books can get boring fast with no story to drive you through them.
I'll consider anything with pictures though:)
I just couldn't get into tBK, but it might be the translation, but I'm not sure.Quote:

I hate reading. I really wish that I found it enjoyable, since there is so much grat stuff to read, but there is something about the act of reading that I don't like.
This is why I seldom reply to threads with topics that are really long.
I love to read. I've always loved to read. :cat:
Reading is great, it's interesting, its time consuming and it makes you smarter (its true, there are thousands of research things out there that state that!) but I'm a pretty slow reader, so it takes me a while to get through a fairly long book...
It took me about a year and a half to read "Wild Swans" (Which is an amazing book and I highly reccomend you all read it, I could write a 2000 word essay on chinese communism after i finished reading that book)
Reading is my life. Freshman-Sophomore year I read practically a book a day, or a book every 2 days, my teachers recommended me books to read because they knew I enjoyed it so much. Junior year I kind of lost my library card so I stopped reading, plus, it was a hard year, but I got a few novels in. This year though, I'm going back to reading a book a day, except for Harry Potter, those are too long to read in a day. >.> But yeah, I've always enjoyed writing and reading, though I'm too shy to show any of my stories. :) Maybe someday.
