Three times questioned, three times answered. Cid is the only true God at EoFF.

However, Kefka the 3rd (aka Heero) and HOORJ can also both be referred to as God for their extended stints with the name.

I'm pretty sure that most revelations have no reasonings. Also, Old Manus, that picture is definitely Godly, as it bestows you as the Son of the Trinity.

This image is clearly based on the Occidental version of God, but most religious art, connected with christianity, comes from the European Renaissance.

(before the renaissance they didn't have oils/canvas/linear perspective and only did crappy frescoes unworthy of being mentioned because they never employed the cool technologies of realism that budded during the renaizsance and international humanism era.... and the baroque images are all very... simple and usually lack God because of the church being scrutinized for semony and the sales of indulgences as well as being too iconical... cue the Prodestant Reformation...so yea.)

The Arabs were far ahead of the Europeans in terms of art (among other things) during the Low and High Middle Ages. Of course they could never paint God.

One of my favorite paintings is Baroque.

I have to agree.

Baroque art is so dramatic and pregnant with movement and feeling.

Bernini's work is just breath taking especially the "Ecstacy of St. Teresa."

Though I think my favourite part about baroque art is how it moves away from religioun and becomes more secular which is deffinately more appealing to the contemporary agnostic/thiest/sceptic.

I also love how it all retains the classical style while exploring realisism instead of idealism. None of that Fox Trot A crap.

Vermeer, Rembrandt, Caravaggio(his use of chiarscuro and tenebrism gives me a goal in life)... these artists are really moving. The epitome of culture and class. (though yeah... it's debatable that the concept of class and culture are standards created and maintained by the bogious, impearlistic pigs... but dude.. the oil glazing.. OH THE OIL GLAZING.)

The arbs didn't depict any thing really, did they?
I thought, or atleast I've been mislead to believe, that Arab art and Ottoman art was directed to the decoration and elegance of their garments, temples, wall mosaics, rugs, vases etc... and all remained rather non-objective.
