The onion knights don't look as funny anymore :(
And they don't have the SNES style graphics they did for FF1&2. :\
No, it's in 3D, we've known that for a while now.
I wonder if it's just as fun without its 2-D awesomeness... ^__^
Woah.
Those are supremely awesome. Lookit the ones in the dungeon and the armor shop. Amazin'.
Wow.
I don't know how you can be impressed by these, they're barely visible. It's almost impossible to tell what's what.
the character kinda looks like a Clavat Male from FF Crystal Chronicles....
THE JACKEL
when this is out in the UK im getting a DS.
I think I may weep for joy for the next few months. God I wish I had a DS.
Awesemo. I wonder if theyre intentionally similar in style to ff crystasl chronicles for details.
I want this game so much. It looks beautiful. :mog:
Or b/c they plan on releasing an FFCC game for the DS, by making it look similar to it, they already have some work done for the game, killing two birds with one stone?Quote:

Those are actually from Warmech's domain.
Hey, that's a cool site:)Quote:

just cause some graphics are similar doesn't mean the game is at all, the graphics of FFCC were quite good actuallyQuote:

I think its kewl too. If you look in The Best and Worst of Final Fantasy awards section, you'll have a laugh or two. xD Really you will.Quote:

How can you even tell? The shots are way too small and the resolution is too low. I can barely even tell what's happening in most of them, let alone see stylistic details.
You're not squinting hard enough, then.
magnifing glass...
Does anyone else think the graphics and battle stances look just like Golden Suns? :mog:
Talking about a rerelease for FFIII, does anyone know if there is a FFIII version on the WonderSwan?? I've look everywhere but I couldn't find anything, and I do want to play this game, but not on NES.:choc:
Nope. FFIII Wonderswan was in the works, but it was canned.
Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait for the DS version then....
Oh I love Golden Sun....Quote:

I say this as a guy who beat Zeromus at roughly level 43, and hardly any of the crystal/best weapons and armour. That was actually on one of my first times through it come to think of it. To me, that tells me the guy doesn't know what he's doing or talking about. As for FFVI being one of the least challenging, that's only true if you end up getting the best espers/techs. Sure with Sabin's "Bum Rush" and the Chainsaw and Phoenix and Ragnarok (weapon or esper), etc. it's pretty easy, but not everyone's going to get those on the first couple of times through (especially the bum rush). And the Lightning mini-game in X is a test in concentration (and how). Regardless though, the early FFs are where it's at. The later ones are good too, but I guess I've just played the older ones more.
Zeromus at level 43? I think you played the US SNES version, didn't you? There's nothing wrong with that, but the PSX version was much harder and there was no way you could beat Zeromus at level 43. I think those who say FF IV is hard are certainly referring to the psx version which is actually quite tough.
The PS1 version gets a LOT harder if you set it to "active" then crank the battle speed up.
Only the houses in the village reminds me a bit of Golden Sun, but everything else looks completely different.Quote:

How do you figure it would fail? All we know about the game is that it's in 3D and has a few grainy screenshots.
My retarded mind can see the future...
But to be serious, I said might, and might goes through the same terms as maybe. You never know what'll happen...
FFIII is a profoundly rockin' game. They'd have to go a long way to screw it up.
Hell yeah it's a rockin game. My favorite of the series...
Kinda bummed it's only for the DS tho, it's the only game for the DS that I want but I can't justify buying the DS for a single game.
It looks alot like FF9 almost. Is there a US Release date yet?
There isn't even a Japanese release date yet.
But it's slated for a 2006 release though
Wow, that's horrible.Quote:

Yeah but the DS up and close would have better quality then a camera. Unless you have 1/20 vision...
but you're still staring at a screen smaller than an index card. two screens, really, but same difference.
Yeah I get ya'. Now the PSP on the other hand. A little small but almost takes up the whole screen. See how much better FFIII would be on the PSP. Yo....... (You'd be dumb not to get it)
i agree:DQuote:

I agreeQuote:

When FFIII comes ot in England, I shall buy it, and then nick my brothers DS. Can't be bothered to buy my own. And the grahics look cool! I didn't think the DS had such a powerful graphics engine.
The DS has graphics on par with that of the Nintendo 64, or it might be even better. I'm not positive.
And the DS rocks, people. Simple as that. Buy it! It really will not kill you to own a Nintendo console, sheesh. It has good games! A better game library than the PSP currently has.
Coooooooome ooooooonnn DS emulator ......
...a DS emulator? That's not possible, the DS has a touch screen.
And computers have a mouse?
They come up with one, trust me, you could use, as DTOW said, the mouse for the touch screen, It'll actually be easier ....Quote:

Ill consider, but Only if FFIII is exceptional, Im not really into the DS and all its decent games are related to Mario and that universe, Im not into that at all. While my PSP kicks so much ass, especially with Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max out...

Q.E.D.
You forgot "Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble!".
Did I?
I like that Bobobo, Derek, and Soma are all making the exact same gesture.
I just now noticed that.
I like that it just happens to be the "honk honk" gesture too.
A DS emulator IS in developement, but I'd rather but the console. And the game.
Who said those were fantastic games anyway ...Quote:

I want Dawn of Sorrow and FFIII...
There porting all the First Generation FF games to handhelds. I think Square having got off there back side and are giving what the players want.
If that were true, FFXII and AC would be out already.
Ya know, some times you just have to take the time to make sure you've done everything right. If you release something too soon, it can be problematic.
