Are there any meets? I know all the automotive forums I am a member of meet up every now and then to talk, hang out, eat, drive around, and just chill. Do you guys have anything similar to that? It would be ultra cool. :-D Just curious...

Yes, occasionally, unfortunately mostly in the UK.
I would love to see an event set-up in the tri-state new york, new jersey, connecticut, and pennsylvania area... We have anime and video game clubs here that hang out on my college campus and we watch anime and play video games (love the soul calibur battles).

I'm curious as to why you would want to meet up with members from a forum that you have just joined today, as you don't know anyone here. It seems a little strange.

Yeah a Canadian meet up would be extremly hard to do. Especially for people in the Atlantics...or the Praries for that matter...Canada too large...Why can't we be small like the UK???

I've met Towns twice, Lambert (Squally Leonharty) and Lenna once, and Joaquin/James Latimer Cockney Rebel many times.
I sadly have met no one as of yet, but i plan on it eventually.

I've met more than 50 people from online forums and only about 4 have been a-holes, not a single ass-tomatotizer. :choc2: Plus, events are cool, there can be video game bootleg sales, an inflatable huge screen tv for anime and stuff.. it would be awesome, but oh well. The thing about meeting people from online is that you have to want to in the first place. It's not about a fear of ass-rape or anything; it's having to put up with Weasley in person rather than blocking him on AIM. It's much easier to do the latter.

It's $800 for a plane to Florida, so i doubt that'll be hapening T_T, but probably no more then $100 for a bus up to there, so deopending on time and money, the north of the north wont be safe, nor will the UK in 4 years time.
It is 94$ return from C'ton to Fredericton, it is probably cheaper to where you live, plus it more likely me going down cuz I would want to visit some people that I know around there. I have some relatives, and some other people too...So who knows right? Life is a mysterious thing. The next day I could be on the moon...

However, the world is not really larger than the UK. On that note, why not hold the world-meet there, ask for a government grant, have turn-based battles with the Police and then spend the Gil on alcohol? Failing that anyone know of times locations for UK meets?

You're from New York? I've lkived in Vermont my entire life and really I wouldn't want to live many other places. It's onr of the most liberal and free sates you can live in. It realy is a good place to have a family and not ahve to deal so much with all the crap. Unless you're unlucky to live in a couple towns.

I've been to poultney plenty of times. My brother went to Green Mountain college and Poultney is in our football division. and Vermont > New York anyways :p

The UK is better, simply cause you can actually reach somewhere within 2 hours. I mean, Manchester was a trek and that was 2 hours on a train. They were fun, but next time I have to get the time off work FIRST.
