ff8
that battle ruled
Toss-up between FF8, and FF2, Origins. I'll go with 8.
i chose 10. it gets you straight into the action and has cool music! a big plus! :p
Liberi Fatali is love.
Definately X. I've only beaten the game twice, but I must have started it over a hundred times just to watch the intro.
Speaks the truth.Quote:

I'm giving it to FF6. FF8 is a close second, but I just loved the opening credits in 6 with them walking toward Narshe and the music that played.
FFVIII, without a doubt one of the best introductory sequences I've ever seen.
Final Fantasy II had the greatest first battle (a forced loss), and the remake's intro FMV could not have been any better. Anyone who disagrees with me voluntarily admits to not being l337.
chaos: Agreed. Liberi Fatali is a plus to an already great opening FMV. :DQuote:

However, I think plot-wise the intro to Final Fantasy Tactics is wonderful, especially since it throws you right into a rather involved plot right from the beginning.
My favorite was VIII's intro. I also liked X's and V's (Lenna!).
i loved ff7's intro. :) but the ff6 one was classic...you have to love the part in the snow with terra, biggs and wedge walking to Narshe with THAT SONG . great timing..flashy without having to have stupendous graphics.Quote:

FFX was cool
Phillistines, all of you. ;P
I voted for FFVIII, but the new FMV into in FFVI also deserves a mention.

….
….well not by me!
ff7 opening song is cool
FFVIII. That intro is amazing.
FFX is a close second. Then FFVII.
the gunblade fight on FF8 tops every other FF intro.
Yeah ffVIIIS intro is definitely my favourite . Even my little sister loved that when she was a baby:)
I'm going for the bombing mission, wasnt the flashiest but it was extremely enjoyable...
What a great way to start a game, blowing up an energy plant :)
absolutely. in fact the whole of ff7 is flashy without having to try :) and that makes the difference, for me, between ff7/ff6/tactics/most of ff9/a bit of ff8, and... ff10 :eek:Quote:

At this point in Final Fantasy IV I always like to take a step back and feel really good about all of the great things I've accomplished in the game. Here is a list of some of the highlights so far:
* Ruthlessly murdered old men and women.
* Stole jewels.
* Got fired.
* Harrassed town folk.
* Wallowed in self-pity.
* Killed a little girl's mother.
* Set the little girl's town on fire.
* Slashed the little girl with a sword, putting her into a coma.
You're shaping up to be one hell of a hero! And to think, you're only about 20 minutes into the game.
if i didnt vote for ffx-2, i would have definetely voted for ffviii
X-2 spent so much time on the intro they forgot the rest of the game.
