After the upgrade, I haven't been getting any confirmed/unconfirmed private message receipts. What's up with that?

Click the box at the bottom that asks if you wish to request a receipt for it. It defaults to not being checked.

I, too, would like this fixed. However, forcing a box to be checked by default is something that I've never done before. This is possibly something more suited to Yams.

But he's not an admin.

Only if you don't want it to track your PM. I don't really see the point in not checking it, as it doesn't really affect you in any negative way.

I guess I don't know how this works. does it nag the person I'm sending a PM to to have to click something? That's why I never use it, I hate to be a nag. If it doesn't affect the person I'm sending it to at all, then I guess I have no reason to care either way. I certainly never use PM tracking.

But now that we've got so many resonses (127 or so last I checked), it's getting hard to pick people out.

And you people are silly. Why would PM tracking require you to do any extra work? It's there to let you know if someone has read your PM or not, there's no extra work involved.

if i'm thinking about it, it's extra distance the electrical impulses have to travel on my neurons. work = force :dot: distance OR W=Fdcos(theta) and since the distance is greater, there is more work done.
